aamir543ParticipantThis is just unnaceptable, to lose like this on your own home court? MJ would never have done that in the finals. Lebron is the most talented player on the frickin planet, but he lets big mouth Jason Terry outplay him? He got crossed by Terry a ocuple games ago, and cant make a simple shot. And I am no longer accepting fatigue as an excuse. Nowitzki is slow, recovering from a flu, and he turns it on when he needs to. And just a little joke, when Nowitzki left to go into the locker room, he went to go get the key ot Mark Cuban’s mouth, that is why Cuban is so happy, he will let loose once again. But Lebron, you must go to work this summer and win it next year. Congrats to the Mavs team. This is load of veterans, who finally got their ring. I personally was not a believer in them until game two or three of the LA sieres, that was when I had a feeling that this would be special.

BBall4life88ParticipantNew rule for this site…
Never mention MJ and LeBron in the same sentence or same thread.
I never want to hear them mentioned together…EVER

Awesome-O-420ParticipantAgree with BBall4Life, this series permanently squashes all comparisons – think what happened to Hector for being compared to Achellies.

ghrghrParticipant^^ wow. You sure know your history.
Lebron has no excuses now. He lost, choked and did that ridiculous cough thing with Wade. When you say ends justify the means and don’t reach your goals then you have nothing. And to me that’s what James did.

JJeff6ParticipantHe has to learn how to lead a team and how to act appropriately at designated appropriate times. The dude is a freak of nature and obviously one of the most talented basketball players this game has ever seen. However, he is immature, constantly doing or saying something that is controversial and the media is eating him apart. Hes just gotta grow up. plain and simple.

BBall4life88ParticipantI said same sentence or same thread
that comparison is so far off right now it’s not even worth thinking about anymore.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIF not for old age, LeBron wouldn’t even be better than Kobe. I don’t how in the hell he somehow jumped up in MJ’s world.
Kobe has a greater work ethic, more overall skill and he has more killer instinct. I also think Kobe is more competitive at both ends of the floor.

BBall4life88ParticipantI’ve never thought he had the dedication or hard work to put the time in the gym…i’ve made several posts about it.
His game revolvs around his athleticism not his skills…Jordan had both + the winning mentality and he knew what to do to win.
LeBron would rather market himself as a brand and create stupid cartoons and own soccer teams etc…. than put the time in the gym to work on his moves or jumpshot.
And LeBrons brand and marketability has plummited this last year. If he’s a true competitor he can use this as motivation and practice his ass off and come back hungry with some moves and a jumpshot.

cward23ParticipantI don’t think LeBron will ever be as good as Jordan but i think people forget Jordan wasn’t wining titles at the same stage in his career either. People seem to just rememeber Jordan once he started wining but forget he took his lumps to Boston and Detroit before finally getting a ring. And even back then before he won people were saying he’s nothing more than a overrated selfish scorer. Just like Jordan LeBron doesn’t have a consistant jumper or a post game, only time will tell if he develops that part of his game

WizardofOzParticipantLeBron needs to hit the gym to lose some weight! He’s lost a good amount of quickness and hops, and I think that was the main reason why he was dissapearing so much throughout the series. Dude’s like 270-something. You don’t need to be that big to play SF, especially if you’re not a post player. I think all the extra weight is slowing him down.
And he needs to work on his post game. Dude has no post moves, and his footwork is weak.

cward23ParticipantWhen did he lose quickness and hops? Did you watch the other series or when he banged on Iman?? It had nothing to do with his size because he jumps just as high and is just as quick as he has always been. Dallas Defense just didnt allow him to get into the lane at will and his confidence was shot

If you watched a lot of him in Cleveland, you would notice the difference. Just watch 1-minute of Miami LeBron and 30-seconds of Cleveland LeBron, and if you can’t see the difference, you’re blind.
Sometimes, he uses to be able to blow by someone whenever he wanted too, but now, his 1st-step is in slow-motion and he can’t get by anyone in the half-court. And he’ll occasionally get up kind of high on a dunk, but you’ll never see him get his head above the rim and get a lot of chasedown blocks like he used to. I saw a couple of times in the series where he missed layups that would have for sure been dunks in Cleveland.
Just face it, HE’S LOST A STEP.

kobyzParticipant@WizardofOz, i think you got it worng with your analysis, it has nothing to do with the Miami LeBron versus the Cleveland LeBron thing! it just matter of the regular season LeBron versus the post season LeBron!in playoffs the defenses are totally different, there is more focus, smart, thinking, discipline… there is less room and transition opportunities for James to use and it make him much less effective.peoples need to realize that though LeBron is a great player, he has flaws mostly offensively and scoring wise that make him likelihood for the defense to stop, unlike Wade who is much more quick with better feel and masterfulness and could be unstoppable in every situation.that why i always said that even though LeBron is a better regular season player, Wade > LeBron !0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/13/2011 - 12:25pm #544386

paradigmnParticipantHows my DIRK taste Lebron???
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/13/2011 - 12:28pm #544387
cward23ParticipantNope. Just go back and watch the Bulls series ad how you keeps up with Rose (who is as quick as they come). He doesn’t fly all the time because he’s smarter and conserves energy more (just like most players do when they realize they don’t have to fly all the time)
It only becomes a problem when players are flying past him or he can’t get to where he wants to go, Which his fist team all defense and continued scoring show’s he doesn’t have a problem in any phase of the game
