Who do you think will be avaliable and who do you want the Knicks to draft?

I’d really like to see them draft Biyombo. He is raw but has so much potential to develop into a really great player. He fits the Knicks needs because he will rebound and block shots and is athletic enough to be effective on offense (not like a Thabeet or someone like that). I know past African players haven’t panned out but I think he really could find longevity in the NBA.

I highly doubt Biyombo will slide to 17th..  Especially with Houston at 14, no way he goes passed them.  He may also go to the Pistons.

With the roster NY has, their looking for immediate help an IMO Biyombo wont fit that roll

My top 3 at 17 would be in this order:

Marshon Brooks- a guard off the bench to supply some much needed fire power in the Jamal Crawford mold

Tyler Honeycutt- long, can play multiple positions, very athletic, and wont shy away on the defensive end (averaged nearly 3 blocks p/g from the wing)

Josh Selby- I feel he would excel in coach D’s offense with his shooting ability and quickness to run a uptempo offense

Why would they draft Biyombo.  I think people forget about Jerome Jordan who was tops in blocks for a few years in college.  He is a legit 7 foot and should get some solid minutes in the post.

Honeycutt is too good a defender to fit in Ny…U guys can draft Jesus it won’t change the fact you suck, My Sixers played much tougher than the Knicks and we don’t have a ” Superstar “…Basketball is back in New York, extremely mediocre Basketball…

     No way Biyombo’s available

FWIW, Chad Ford reported the Knicks have narrowed their options down to 6, Jimmer, Klay, Marshon, Selby, Faried, and Vucevic

I ‘ll be dissapointed if we take Vucevic or Faried at 17

    Dont see Jimmer being available

I’ll be fine with either of Klay, Marshon, Selby

I like Singleton too, but I dont see _’Antoni playing him

Yo fall back Scarecrow…we’ll see ya guys next year and see what happens!

And my list would go like this based on who’s available:

    1. Biyombo; I can easily see a draft day slide and at 17 thats better value for him
    2. Singleton; I’ve been saying this for weeks that he’s the best fit for what we need as a defender/developping shooter
    3. Thompson; gives us that floor spacer and pure shooter we lost in the Gallo trade
    4. Brooks; Can provide that much need scoring punch off the bench
    5. Vucevic; A center prospect who I think will be able to replace what Mosgov would’ve gave us. Gives the size we need down low.

@tol23, Aran has Biyombo slipping to 20, however you are right, I believe he will be gone by around the mid first round, that is if he isnt gone by mid lottery.

    Just my two cents

    • Jeremy Tyler- I was high on him from day one
    • Darius Morris- Gives us a backup point/point of the future
    • Chris Singleton- Could be the defensive piece we need

Don’t count out Vucevic either, #17 may seem a little high, but Turiaf and Jared Jeffries are not going to get it done at the C position as they try to move forward and Vucevic would give them a 7 footer with a big body and a pretty solid skill set.
