mrsmith_6ParticipantWe have all heard the various trade rumors involving Andre Igudola. So far we have had:
1) Iggy for Monta Ellis
2) Iggy for Chris Kaman
One trade that I would like to see is Minnesota trade the #2, #20, Wayne Ellington, and cash to Philly for Iggy and the #16 pick.
Why Should Minnesota?
This will solve their hole at the 2 position, give them some vet leadership, defense, and a great running mate with Rubio. With the 16th pick they can use it to find a Center or BPA.
Why Should Sixers?
With #2 pick they can select Kanter as their center for the future (and don’t have to overpay Hawes or can let him walk ). With the #20 pick they can take a scorer like Jordan Hamilton or Brooks. Ellington gives the Sixers 3pt shooting, something that they didn’t have this year. The cash comes in handy once a new CBA is signed so they can get some FAs ( like Rick Jackson PF out of Syracuse or Greg Smith PF/C then move Spreights to backup Center position)
Your thoughts?

pbrittyParticipantThey have Wesley Johnson at the 2 and Andre iguodala is naturally a 3. Sixers would prefer a proven center rather than a euro project

sammybuckeye13ParticipantIf the 6ers trade for the 2 pick it will be to get Williams, not Kanter

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWe would want Beasley, Darko and the 20th pick for Iguadola and Hawes…this allows the Wolves GM draft Kanter or trade back for a proven C and draft pick…Beasley replaces Iguadola’s scoring and would likely become the fan favorite in Philly, Super Cool Bees would thrive in a pivotal role, he can play the Sf next year or Pf post Brand, Darko can play the role of a true C…Iguadola adds stability and veteran leadership to Minnesota, not to mention A stellar athlete to run with Rubio…the 20th pick could be used on BPA, Another Wing, euro sleeper or project big, the Sixers also hold on to their 16th pick…two top 20 picks plus Beasley and Darko would be a great start to the summer…

Mr. 19134ParticipantEllington is not better then Jodie Meeks.
And the Sixers def could use Darko because he is a very good defensive center who can run the floor, pass, and hit the outside shot. We could also use Michael Beasley who would be the scorer we need. So Beasley and Darko for Iggy is a nice trade for both teams with no picks or cash involved, and that way the Wolves can draft either Kanter or Williams.
Rubio, Wes Johnson, Iggy, Love, and Kanter/Williams is a very nice team to build around Love and Rubio. Johnson and Iggy provide perimter defense along with Rubio who has long arms and get’s into passing lanes creating for fastbreak opportunities.
