laarethekingsParticipantI NOT SAYING IT SHOULD HAPPEN, I"M NOT SAYING ITS A GOOD TRADE. I"M JUST ASKING TO ASK….
If the T Wolves called the Magic and offered Love, Ellington, 2nd pick and the 20th pick
for
Howard
would the Magic have to think about it?
In the end I would still say no, but you would have to think about it…. Right?

apb540ParticipantIf they are positive Howard is 100% sure he is going to leave (which he most certainly isn’t) then Yes, they do have to think aboot it.

NbanflguyParticipantI would say no. Its pretty much Love and the 2nd pick for Howard. Ellington and the 20th pick(especially in this draft) are not really great value to the magic.
Edit…….. And Howard would never sign an extension in Minny

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantIf I were Orlando I would take that trade over the trade I’ve seen on here a million times about Bynum/Odom for Howard

Ahkasi ClayParticipantits better then what the Lakers could offer!
(if they were open to trading him)
what would it take for MY JAZZ to get him?

Memphis MadnessParticipantHow about this?
With a possible lineup next year of Kevin Love, Derrick Williams, Wesley Johnson, and Ricky Rubio wouldn’t Dwight Howard be a perfect fit?
He should sign there.
A great power forward next to him who can score, rebound, and pass, a playmaking, pass-first point guard in Ricky Rubio, a great third option with athleticism and 3 point range in Derrick Williams, a nice wing player in Wesley Johnson, and a few good reserves in Darko (would be a great backup center), Randolph, and whoever they pick at 20.0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/07/2011 - 8:19pm #541389
kurtu17Participanti think the lakers offer would be way better then that off. Plus you dont know if it will be derick williams or irving with that pick.

TimbosliceParticipantUh… Kevin love wouldn’t be there, he’d be traded, as would Williams (#2 pick). The #20 pick would be gone as well in the trade. Who knows what Rubio can do in NBA. It would pretty much be Dwight, a couple decent players and a few role players/scrubs
In short… Dwight would never sign an extension there so this is a moot point. He has all the leverage and can basically force himself wherever he wants to be the same way Carmelo did

LazarusMunozParticipantsomeone should create a thread of what each team in The NBA would have to trade in order to land Dwight Howard

mikeyvthedonParticipantThe correct answer is no, they would not. Otis Smith is not that ridiculous.
