haha yeah that is crazy….on a side note, i think hes an awesome coach especially as a x and o type guy….The Mavs have really good spacing and seem to always play within the offense

Carlise needs to play Corey Brewer. He is athletic and he can defend multiple positions at 6’9. Give him a chance to guard bosh or lebron or wade. Especially since Haywood is out.

He can’t leave Kidd on Wade no way Kidd is gonna stay with him.

I think Wade the best player in the game and Stevenson should be on him esp. in crunch time.

The problem is that Stevenson isn’t on the floor during crunch time. Terry is and he can’t defend Wade to save his life. Wade is going to score and make tough shots, but I actually think Kidd has defended him well. The bigs need to do a better job… The backline defense was terrible last night.

I know it’s harder than it looks, but sometimes I just shake my head… IF they watch game film, why aren’t they noticing that Wade likes to play with the ball, crossover to the left, give a hesistation and then pull up? He does it everytime. I’ve yet to see Wade make a great jumpshot going to his right. IF he goes right, I’m pretty sure he’s going to the hole or going with the runner. You’d think Dallas would stop letting him play with the ball and force him to shoot going right.

They’ve done it in spurts, but Dallas has yet to play great team defense for 48 minutes.

And why would Dallas play Brewer? He’s an offensive liability and his IQ is low. All he’d do is give Miami a player to not defend.

Carlisle really looked like Jim Carey before he started going bald lol. While he was coaching the Pistons and first couple of years with the Pacers, he looked just like Jim Carey in Liar Liar.

I never noticed it until Rick got older, but damn do they look-a-like. Both great people in their respective careers.

Dont get me wrong he’s a good coach, but the reason why he’s not great he doesn’t believe in match-ups.  Why is Peja playing more than 5 minutes a game?  Why?  Kidd can play good D in spuirts, but if you see him getting killed put in D. Stevenson.  DeShaun is shooting GREAT from behind the 3pt line and playing good D on LeBron and Wade.  Why isn’t he playing more? If LeBron in the game Stevenson or Marion should be guarding him.  If Wade in the game Kidd (in spuirts) Stevenson, or Marion should be gaurding him.  This is fairly simple.  Another thing why in the hell is he calling plays for Kidd in the low post against Bibby.  I am confused every game they run this play in the beginning.  They don’t get Dirk involved early and always in a up hill battle.  Stupid ish… This is the only reason they always coming back in games because he doesn’t get Dirk involved early to put pressure on the defense… Dirk doesn’t have to score just make plays.  damn.
