The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWith talks of Toronto looking at Pg heating up I thought of a few ways for the Raptors to secure one who fits…Trade Up Idea…Toronto trades The 5th pick and Jerryd Bayless to Minnesota for the 2nd pick (Irving or Knight) Why??? The Raptors get their franchise point to pair with Derozen long term, The Wolves slide back and can take either Vessely or Valenceunas to pair with Rubio long term and they get some scoring in Bayless(another player Kaun would love for his potential) Trade Down Idea…Toronto trades 5th pick to Charlotte for the 9th and 19th picks…Why??? The Cats get their rebuild jump started by snatching a top 5 pick to pair with DJ, G Henderson and Tyrus Thomas, The Raps slide down to draft Jimmer 9th and one of the better wings or centers left at 19…the Raps get a guy that spreads the floor and could be a mini Nash in time,.plus they get another top 20 pick to add some depth at Sf or C…Feed back wanted Raptors, Wolves and Bobcats fans, and all other educated Ball fans too…thank u in advance

er1csh3nParticipantthe second trade the raps definitely wont do, not after what mj did to them last offseason, and the first trade, the wolves would have to add flynn or another pick to add incentive, because bayless ‘s stock is at a high after his stats for the last 10 games

BBall4life88ParticipantIf the Wolves could get Demar Derozan and shop Flynn + another player or Flynn + a draft pick that would be great for the Wolves…they could secure that two guard position for the future…good NBA 2 guards are rare and I think Derozan could be a pretty good one.
Bayless would also be a great pickup from the Raptors, he finished the season with very strong and he’s a scoring combo guard that could be a great fit with Rubio in the backcourt and coming off the bench for an athletic soring and energy spark.
Another more far fetched possibility for the Wolves would be Flynn + another player, or Flynn + draft pick for Andrea Bargnani to play alongside Love in the Frontcourt. It would open up the paint for Love to work down low and clean the board and get those offensive rebounds…and you still have Darko coming off the bench.
I think it’s a great idea for the Wolves to entertain a deal with the Raptors, they have some great young talent that would be a good fit with the Wolves…it seems possible and Flynn has also mentioned interest in the Raptors. 1 point

er1csh3nParticipantthe raptors are alot more likely to give up bargnani than derozan, on the raptors, derozan and ed davis are "untouchables", while almost everyone else is expendable, even the 5th pick, but flynn + 2nd pick + unprotected 2012 for bargnani +5th seems like a fair trade and the wolves draft biyombi at the 5, having love at 4 and biyombi at 5, and when bargnani comes off the bench as a sixth man, he can provide the offence, while biyombi and love hide his defensiv and rebounding liabilities, u can also try to incorporate calderon in it because i hear kahn wants someone to mentor rubio, with jose’s efficiency, leadership, and his relationship to rubio, i think he might even be willing to trade wesley johnson + filler for jose and some 2nd round picks

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWell if his stats from those ten games is enough to pass on the 2nd pick you truly deserve what you get as a franchise…Bayless and the 5th pick are worth more than the Second pick in the draft???…Minnesota would throw you guys Pekovic to make you happy lmao…

er1csh3nParticipantten meaningless games where bayless showed his potential as a franchise pg and held his own against mvp derrick rose, and helped raptors SWEEP okc(only team other than the spurs to do so),and even the season series with the magic.

B-ball fanParticipantI don’t think Minnesota would really want Bayless that much to do that trade. Also, Toronto might get Knight with the 5th pick anyway, and if they don’t than they could get Walker, so I can’t see them giving up more to get that second pick. It would be a good trade for Toronto, but I don’t think that Bayless has enough trade value to make that deal happen.
