That way Flynn is your Pg and you can draft a wing like Vessely or Leonard or even take a huge risk and draft Valenceunas or Bismack B…Flynn for Bayless is a decent trade…gives the Raps options in the draft…now if the Kings want Flynn they could offer a future top 5 protected pick in 2012, I don’t think they want any players back from Sac Town, so I don’t see that trade working out too much…maybe a Flynn and Johnson for the 7th pick in 2011 and a top 5 protected pick in 2012…

no way flynn deserves a 2012 unprotected pick, minny is even willing to do a jose calderon +5th for flynn +2nd , because kahn wants someone to mentor rubio, ie jose is spanish and is a very efficient pg

Calderon and Weems or Alibi would get enough for Flynn. Theres no way there trading Bayless.

The Raptors aren’t keeping Bayless long-term, face the facts guys, get something back for him while you can…

 If the Wolves could get Demar Derozan and shop Flynn + another player or Flynn + a draft pick that would be great for the Wolves…they could secure that two guard position for the future…good NBA 2 guards are rare and I think Derozan could be a pretty good one. Bayless would also be a great pickup from the Raptors, he finished the season with very strong and he’s a scoring combo guard that could be a great fit with Rubio in the backcourt and coming off the bench for an athletic soring and energy spark.  

Another more far fetched possibility for the Wolves would be Flynn + another player, or Flynn + draft pick for Andrea Bargnani to play alongside Love in the Frontcourt. It would open up the paint for Love to work down low and clean the board and get those offensive rebounds…and you still have Darko coming off the bench.  

I think it’s a great idea for the Wolves to entertain a deal with the Raptors, they have some great young talent that would be a good fit with the Wolves…it seems possible and Flynn has also mentioned interest in the Raptors.

 Flynn practically a bust? I can already tell ur gonna be one of those negative all stars. 

 Ya Flynn for DeRozan is out of the question but getting Flynn this offseason for the Raps is practical. 

He had a sophmore slump but I’m far from labeling him a bust. Injuries and decreased minutes were the reasoning behind his numbers. 

I think if we give up the 5th pick we could get rid of Calderons contract, He would be a good back-up and mentor to a younger spanish point guard in Rubio. 

Toronto gets:

Jonny Flynn, Nikola Pekovic & 20th pick

Minnesota gets:

Jose Calderon, Solomon Alabi & 5th pick

Look, I have said this from the begining, De Rozan will be that guys whop goes from team to team averaging about 10 points a game, 3 rebounds and 1 assists. However there is a slight chance he becomes a star. Flynn had a fantastic rookie season but struggled to get any rythem at all this season. A reasnobel trade for Flynn would be a top 10 Protected (or 15) 2012 no.1 for Flynn. I believe he is worth the risk for a mid first because we know he has the ability, he just needs ot be more consistet. Adn for the T Wolves, if they can get a good player who is ready to help right away, they can be dangerous in the years to come. They have a lot of raw talent that still needs to translate in to NBA production. But if they want to keeep Flynn, he must improve his Jump shot, if he want to play over or along side Rubio.Maybe if Flynn proves he can knock down shots, he can be Jason Terry like 2 guard. Either way, if the T wolves make the right moves, they can be a contender in 3-6 years.
