By far it is the most deadliest move on the break you can make, when you want to get to the rack. KD & Wade has one of the most effective Euro Steps, because of their long strides. My personal fav is Brandon Jennings’ step, because he is so quick with it, although Wall warrants consideration.

Who has the best Euro Step in the NBA?

I love, love, LOVE this move! I use it all the time in pick-up games. I like to take one small step to my right, then one long, quick and immediate step to my left and scoop it in.

To answer your question, I think it’s a tie between Manu and D-Wade. Manu has the best technique, but Wade’s superior athleticism makes his Euro-step a bit more deadly.

Wade has that long stride which makes it very effective. I think Jennings may have an advantage over some players, because he was overseas & that’s where he picked it up at. Why not get the best tutelage from Euro’s themselves.

Manu and D-Wade are probably the tops BUT Tyreke is my personal favorite. As soon as he adds a legit jumper, this guy is going to be unstoppable!

He makes it look too easy IMO

I use it all the time too. Anyone know who is the "inventor" of the move though? I know Manu was one of the first to use it in the NBA but I remeber seeing a highlight video of Pete Maravich doing something liek the euro step.

Wade has the best Euro to me, Ginobili is the 1st person I’ve seen do it though.

Manu is seemingly the "inventor" since he’s one of the first players to do it in the NBA but others have takin that move and perfected it as well. D-Wade has a sick euro step, as well as Lebron, but Tyreke Evans euro step is just filthy. The euro step is a very good move to have in your arsenal and is pretty simple once you learn it. I wouldn’t call it the deadliest move on the break though simply because of Jamal Crawfords shake and bake move..definitely the nastiest move in the league and he’s basically the only player that does it.

I was just gonna say what about the Jamal Crawford shake an bake move. Its so effective when he pulls it off.

But id say D Wade has the best euro step, that one he did on garnett a couple weeks back was just filthy.

Not the deadliest move on the break because it doesn’t give you as much elevation and it limits your athleticism on the finish.

As much as I love pulling an effectively timed Euro step, my favorite move on the fast break is putting the defender in the blender with the nasty turbo spin move.

That doesnt really matter, because by that time..you already passed the defender

Not always smart ass.  You can have a 1 v 1 or 2 v 1 fastbreak.  A defender can still be down there.
