Lotto StudParticipantCleveland Derrick Williams-With thoughts of Irving not participating in any tests, has me thinking is he hiding something. Williams may have outplayed Duke, but the question is can he outplay Irving’s hype for the #1.
Minnesota Kyrie Irving-This will be a dream come true for Kahn for job "security". I don’t expect Kahn to hesitate in selecting Irving at all. Rubio still has some trade value left, so I would expect him to be moved ASAP.
Utah Enes Kanter-This is a iffy pick, because it really does not make any sense unless Utah is shopping Millsap or Jefferson. Favors has to much promise at 19 years of age to get rid of.
Cleveland Brandon Knight-Almost a guarantee if Irving goes to Minny at #2. Although Knight is not as ball dominate he would make a bigger impact for the Cavs IMO over Irving.
Toronto Kawhi Leonard-Rated as the best SF prospect in this draft, but does it make sense to go with him over Vesely.

scliddiardParticipantFavors won’t be the player the Jazz trade, it would be Big Al or Milsap. I love the idea of Kanter and Favors in the front court. They aren’t the tallest but they could end up being the most talented. Favors has the same measurements as Howard and Kanter at 6’11 and good bulk would be able to handle things just fine.

scoutguruParticipantAgree with wat u said about Knights impact on the Cavs at least maybe in the short term. I believe he’ll have some growing pains at the point, which is uncommon for rookies so young, but with his natural instincts for the position, it would be elevated somewhat. But he’s a guy I think can play some good min along with BD or Sessions in the back court playing off the ball, just looking for his shot. Then slowly, he’ll be given more responsibility and allowed to grow into the position without a ton of pressure, like the way Kyrie would if he goes 1st.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantLooking at the players that are available for the draft this year.Terrance Jones had a great chance of going in the top 5…..

4th dimensionYou can say the samething about Barnes, Sullinger, Perry Jones and such. Weak draft class this year.

Kinguy11ParticipantI don’t think Favors will be traded by the Jazz No until his contract year at least.
Favors, is raw and the team he’s with needs to patient with, if the Jazz can do that he could become a solid role-player on the Jazz or any team that aquries him, if he’s given peyience and time to develop.

nath09ParticipantQuoting someone above, they aren’t the tallest but they could be the most talented….the most talented what?
PF/C
Smith/ Horford
Ming /Scola
Gasol/Bynum
Gasol/Randolph
Nowitzki/Chandler
Griffen/Kamen
My apologies if that’s not what you were referring too but if it was thats just a half a dozen off the top of my head.

OhCanada-ParticipantKawhi drafted before Vesely? I dont know about that one. Ive been under the assumption that Leonard is not as athletic as we thought snce his horrible combine scores. For me that hurt his stock because in college he got by on athletisism, when he tries to in the NBA he will have another thing coming to him. That raises serious red flags.

kevnix5ParticipantI don’t think the Cavs will go with Williams at #1 even though they probably should. I think the reason Irving has been skipping the tests is because they told him they were taking him regardless. No point in doing the tests if you are guaranteed to go first overall. I hope for the Cavs sake they decide to take Williams first overall though because they may be able to pick up Brandon Knight with the fourth pick. And even if they don’t get Knight they can get Kanter.

llperezNo way I’m taking Leonard top 5. I understand he’s a safe pick because at very worst you have an athletic defensive minded guy who can do the little things. But I just don’t care for his upside and would rather take a risk on somebody else with more potential. I would seriously take Honeycutt before Leonard.
