im not a lebron fan by any means but i know talent when i see it. ANd the fact that ppl dont think lebron can be the best player ever 1 day is just ridiculous. I know ppl love jordan and many dont even wanna hear sumebody being compared to him. But understand this: lebron is built to be a better player than jordan. Body wise and with his athleticism he is supposed 2 be unstoppable. Add his skills and vision and u have a monster on your hands. If stats are all u care about then yea lebron 1 day most certainly has a chance to be the best ever. Also his jumpshot and clutchness is ever improving. Hes just a different breed of player weve never seen. So dont get so caught up in thinking bron better than jordan is crazy. Becuase he is only geting better every day…….and he hasnt even it his prime yet

why cant we just wait til his career is over and see then?  greatness is accomplishments, individual and team, obviously jordan is the greatest, thats not an argument.  talent and skill is something lebron obviously has more of than any player that has probably ever played the game.  Roy Jones was IMO the most gifted boxer to ever lace em up, but as far as greatness, he’s not even in the top 25 of all time.  At the end of the day…people are going to have their preference and there is nothing wrong with that.

I think Lebron is the best player in the game right now, but he has to win some championships before I will say he is top ten. This is probably his year, but I’m not ready to put the crown on him yet. And if he wins this year, he still isn’t in my top five. Jordan, Russell, Wilt, Magic, Bird, who you kicking out to make room for Lebron? Except for Wilt, they all have mad rings and Wilt has a 50+ pts per game average season (while pulling down 25+ boards) and later because he thought it would be interesting, a season where he lead the league in assists).

You can’t compare lebron and roy jones jr because lebron james will be a top 25 greatest nba player if dont win a ring.He is in the top 20 are now.Lebron is going to be a top 5 or 6 after its all said and done but he got to win some rings first.

I think its funny that if Lebron makes half the accomplishments Kobe has made people will make all kinds of arguements saying he is the best player ever. Fact is he will probally be the next great player, but it s always going to be debatable who the best of the best was. Russell or Chamberlain, Bird or Johnson, Shaq or Kobe, it will never end. Jordan completely dominated his era, and Lebron is making huge strides in similarly dominating his. Although with a teammate like Wade who is not far off Lebrons talent level at all is it really fair to say Lebron is as great as Jordan when he has such amazing help. Wade will end up being a top 10-25 player himself.

It’s easy to judge from my couch, but I think if LeBron had Jordan’s drive and work ethic, we’d be talking about a guy who had a ring or two …in Cleveland. Assuming he still would go to the Heat, he’d pick up even more rings there. LeBron is so big, and so athletic, and in the league today where refs call fouls for breathing directly on a player, I think he should be dominating more and getting to the line more.

Jordan in today’s league? Games would be a half hour longer because he’d be at the line all night long.
