     I’m really getting sick of these combine numbers and measurements, if you really want to know about a player, turn on the tape, don’t watch them shooting uncontested shots. The combine is like sex. You can show stamina and feel good beatin’ off but once you get the girl in front of you and are forced to perform at a high level, that shows your true colors….

    It is interesting to see that some of these bigs can really shoot the ball.. Regardless of defense or no defense 20 for 25 is nice…

    I know people like to look at this stuff, but I have to agree that shooting uncontested shots is pure garbage. Anyone ever watch the NBA 3 point contest? There are plenty of times when the best shooter doesn’t win. I have seen times where the better shooters get out early. One bad shooting day or a guy getting on a hot streak shouldn’t mean much. Surely there are guys on this site that could go 20-25 that would never be considered or never were considered NBA material.
