bball28ParticipantI think that it is time for the Spurs to look at rebuilding. What do you think of the Spurs trading Tony Parker, RJ and their 1st rnd pick to Toronto for Bargnani, Calderon, and the 5th pick in the draft?
Why would Toronto do it: Toronto needs a PG, and somebody to draw attention to their team. They have no stars and the 5th pick in the draft won’t be a star in the next couple years. They also are not attraction for FA’s. Tony could make them a better team they could be a decent running team with DeRozan, RJ, Amir, and Ed Davis. Not saying that they would go anywhere next year.
Why would San Antonio do it: They need to rid themselves of RJ contract and get some decent young blood on their team. The 5th pick won’t be a star but they could help the Spurs get some good young talent. TP would be a loss, but I think that Calderon, Hill and Ginobli could be decent PG options. Bargnani needs a new team, things are not working in Toronto. SA always likes stretch 4’s.

NashyMingParticipantRaptors wouldn’t trade the #5 for the 30 years old Parker and RJ’s horrible contract. You are insane.
