A lot of people are saying that the Celtics should draft Jordan Williams. I disagree. There are plenty of free agent bigs like Nazr Mohammed, Deandre Jordan, Kris Humphries, Samuel Dalembert who the Celtics could sign and those bigs could make contributions. Also, the 2012 draft has a deeper pool of bigs that they can choose from. Therefore, I think they should take a wing this year, particularly Marshon Brooks. The kid can score like few others in the draft and looked great at the combine. If he is still available at 25, the Celtics should definitely. The past two years they’ve lost good wings to free agency (Tony Allen, James Posey) and if they have Brooks, he would fill that hole as a back-up 2/3 and would potentially be a starting 2 for the Celtics down the road. Thoughts?

i dont agree with them drafting Jordan Williams…however i think deandre would probably resign with lac or maybe go to a team like the knicks before he goes to boston, i think its safe to say humpries will be back in NJ…i definitly see boston looking at a wing player maybe brooks, or honeycutt

it would be interesting if they took brooks. he would be a building block. i personally think they should take jeremy tyler. i believe a few years under doc, shaq, garnett, j oneal could do him wonders and do the organization wonders in the future.

i was high on jordan williams but he just isnt as big as i thought he was(6’9″). with his smallish height and lack of leaping ability i have him slipping. some say he is carlos boozer but i dont even think he has boozer bounce.
