laarethekingsParticipantNow I’m saying this is going to happen or should happen. I’m just asking if it did happen how would you feel about it? Good or bad idea? For which side of the deal.
Cavs trade the first pick in the draft ( Irving ) to OKC for Westbrook. OKC gets a pass first PG that some say could be up there with CP3. Also OKC saves paying big money to Westbrook so they’ll still have Cap Space for some more years being that Irving will be on his rookie deal.
Cavs get Westbrook and with the 4th pick take Knight as the PG. People say Westbrook could do what the Heat did with Wade ( Play him a PG then side him over to the 2 ) This gives the Cavs an all star in Westbrook, fills a need at the 2 bad in Westbrook and gives them a great 1/2 punch with Knight and Westbrook.

HotSnotParticipantI wouldn’t. I can’t stand Westbrooks game management as a pg and I loath his FG% as a 2 guard.

TyroberParticipantSo the Thunder trade Westbrook for Irving and go back into rebuilding mode when they are champion contenders right now? Westbrook is an all NBA 2nd teamer. He is an allstar point guard. How does this make any sense?

scliddiardParticipantWestbrook is a proven all star, Irving hasn’t proven anything yet, Westbrook is a great athlete and is learning how to be a point guard, I don’t think OKC would even concider such a trade and if they did it would have to be alot more than just the #1 pick.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThe Thunder would be trading Harden for a point guard or power forwad(thinking they get a poor man’s CP3 or Bosh Spice)

Blazetrees23ParticipantI would much rather have irving than westbrook. Westbrooks a headcase that happen to end up in a good situation at the pg position. This needs to happen and should

apb540ParticipantThis is rediculous. Russel Westbrook is going no where.

Chilbert arenasParticipantThey’d have to give up the 1st and 4th pick and still not going to happen.

Chilbert arenasParticipantBut in response to above, Marbury and and Steve Francis were all-stars at one point, not saying westbrook is that bad but being an all-star doesn’t mean that much these days.

NYK2010ParticipantI wonder if OKC was a weak team would they consider a deal like this.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantOKC is only a contender because Westbrook does what he does… They are a contender because Westbrook is a great player…
