Which player has the skill-set to be an AllStar in the Next couple Years. Each of previous 3-4 drafts have had @least 1/2 AllStars. Will this class have an AllSStar and who will it be?

Kyrie Irving,Enes Kanter and Brandon knight

But Kanter and Knight only with the right team were they can do what they are best in, see like kevin love with another team he wouldn’t have been an all-star

The best picks that could be allstar players are the first two picks of this draft, Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams. Out of those two, I’d say Derrick Williams will be an all-star. For Kyrie he could be an all-star but all will he depend on what he does his rookie year. His lack of experience this year because of his injury concerns me. Enes Kanter could also be an all-star, but the fact that he hasn’t played in over a year puts that in jeopardy. Basically those are the three in this draft class that could be all-stars. But only one I am absolutely certain about (Derrick Williams), while the other two it depends on what they do during their rookie seasons. Possibly Alec Burks could be considered one in the future but first he has to develop a jumpshot.

I also think Derrick Williams could be a guy who makes one or two over the course of his career.  I don’t feel he’ll be a perennial type guy, but I feel he’ll develop into a guy who can put up the type of numbers that would make him a fringe All-Star much of the same way one of his comparison players David West does.

Alec Burks is a sleeper pick with his scoring touch, if he develops a jump-shot it will be scary. For a lot of these kids it depends on where they end up, as some of the teams with top picks have their rotation nearly set (Minnesota for example).

any top 10 player who plays in Cleveland, because Clevelandwould use it as star of the team and part of the future

    example
Irving, Derrick Williams, Enes, Hamilton, Knight, KawhiHoneycutt, Tobias, Jonas.

My sleeper for a future All Star is Tristan Thompson, I really like his game. The guys with the best chance though IMO are Kanter and Williams.

it might be awhile before irving becomes an all star…theres so many great pg’s right now that he might have a long wait unless he puts up some monster numbers…guys like Wall and Curry havent even been all stars yet

I like that pick too, I feel Tristan Thompson has Elton Brand style upside, but has a ways to go on the offensive end before he can come close to that category of player.  I think he’ll be an effective rebounder and shot blocker pretty quickly and with his frame and wingspan I think he could easily carry 250 lbs and not lose athleticism.

I think Knight and Irving are gonna have a tough time being All-stars (at least consistnently) given the amount of very good/great young PGs in the league right now.

My top 10 favorite odds to become allstars based on talent/position…

    1.  Enes Kanter – C…depth @ C in the league makes him a strong candidate

    2.  Jonas Valanciunas- C…see above

    3.  Derrick Williams- PF…if he plays PF i think he could possibly have a few allstar caliber seasons

    4.  Alec Burks- SG…def a possibility.  I think he could end up the best player from this draft.

    5.  Kyrie Irving-  PG…maybe the most NBA ready prospect but PG is DEEP.

    6.  Jan Vesely- PF/SF….harder if he stays at SF given the depth in the league

    7.  Tristan Thompson- PF…needs to get stronger but the athleticism and upside is def. there.

    8.  Brandon Knight- PG (I love him as a player but think he will be more of a winner than allstar, less stats more Ws)

    9. Donatas Motiejunas- PF …if he ever develops a desire to become the best he can be he could becom

    10. Bismack Biyombo- PF/C…he def. is athletic enough but really needs to improve offensively and develop an understanding of the NBA game.  A great off ball defender but needs to be able to bang with the big boys straight up 1 on 1.

Not knocking his talents and abilities but it’s become a point guard league and I don’t put Kyrie in the DRose, Dwill, CP3, Westbrook Rondo league (and possibly Wall).  Only so many guards can make the all-star team and you aren’t going to be able to keep those guys out especially if Irving gets drafted by a small market team.
