BouncyBallParticipantI don’t know if you have noticed… But Toronto has been edging away from international players ever since they started rebuilding. They are looking for young, athletic players who can run the floor and play aggressively. Although they will probably draft Kanter if he is still up and they pick third but it will be for his aggressive presence, and wide variety of talent.

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantDid you put Bismack at 7 becasue Chad Ford put him there? Or you really feel he will be a good fit with the Pistons? But, other than that it looks pretty good.

SwatLakeCityParticipant- I don’t like Motiejunas either but that doesn’t mean he should get shafted from a lottery pick. He has great offensive talent, and with this draft class being so weak, he cannot be passed on in the lottery. Just to talented offensively to miss the lottery. Remember you aren’t the one picking, the GM’s in the end they decide who to pick. If they like someone then they will likely pick him even if you feel he doesn’t deserve to be a lottery pick. A lot of scouts and GM’s like Motiejunas so he is definitely going to be a lottery pick no matter if you or I like it or not.
- I feel the Warriors will use the 11th pick on Tristan Thompson. They like Dorrell Wright at the SF, and they already have a good backup in Al Thornton. At PF, they have David Lee but essentially no backup as Ekpe Udoh is playing more of Center role and replacing what the Warriors have lost since Andris Biedrins had a dismal season. Their backup PF right now is Louis Amundson. Not that great and could probably be upgraded. Tristan Thompson would be a definite upgrade over him, and I also think he will have the best value at 11.
- I’m not quite so sure the Jazz fans would raid ESA if they don’t pick Jimmer with the 12th pick. GM Kevin O’conner has said time and time again that he will not pick Jimmer just keep the fans happy. He cares about the team more and the fans may just be too "Jimmer happy" and not realize that they need to use that pick on someone else. I really feel that if the Jazz get the 6th pick they will use it on either Brandon Knight (if available) or Jonas Valanciunas, so most likely the PG need would already be filled by the time the Jazz are on the clock again at 12, so Jimmer would not make sense their as he would just cause a log jam at PG. The Jazz desperately need an AK replacement since he is gone. Leonard would be a great pick, as he could replace AK with his huge wingspan, big hands, and excellent defensive ability. He may be only be 6’7 but he plays like he’s 6’9, that is just what the Jazz need as replacement for AK. If Leonard is not available then Tobias Harris and Chris Singleton are also good AK replacements.
- I think Faried is a little low. The Knicks really like him at 17. Would be a great backup to Amare.
- Jared Sullinger is returning for his sophomore season and no way he would go 31 even if he did declare for the draft. Same with Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones, Terrence Jones and William Buford
- Explain to me why Houston would pick 2 PG’s when they already have Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic. That makes no sense and would just create a log jam at PG.
- Rick Jackson is a little high. I have a feeling he will go undrafted. Same with Gary Flowers, Justin Brownlee, Talor Battle, Austin Freeman, Justin Hurtt, Robin Benzing, and Jacob Pullen. Most of these kids will have to go to the D-league and make the NBA that way instread of through the draft.
- Selby is too low. He has worked himself back into shape and is looking just like he did in his High School days. As a result he has improved a bunch and is showing amazing athletic ability. He is playing much better and deserves to be moved up higher. I think he is now considered a first rounder.
- Demetri McCamey is too low. I hear the Wizards really like him at 34. He would be a great backup to John Wall.
- Bogdanovic has signed onto a big long contract so that complicates him even being drafted. Since he is already 22 he might not even make it to the NBA, and instead be an international star.
- Reggie Jackson needs to be in your mock. He should be in everyone’s mock. He is very underrated and will probably go in the late first round to early second.
Good mock. I would like to see what changes are made once the Draft Lottery has been decided.

EGbball3ParticipantWhy would Utah draft Burks and Jimmer?

JoeWolf1Not bad, but the lotto is only 2 days away. I wouldn’t worry too much about the top picks now because the picks aren’t going to fall in order.
