jjonzParticipantHe has to demand the ball, get to his scoring spots and prduce, fight through the tough screens and punish Battier/Young/TAllen. He is a SStar, i’ve never seen a SuperStar be less effective(in the loses) than he has been in this round. He could easily go for 50 with his awesome skill-set. I expect Durant to come out firing and will be in Kill-Mode from the Jump. This will be the Game that Defines Him. SuperStars in Game 7’s have to step-out. This momentum will carry Thunder past the Mavs into the NBA Finals.
KD On Demand.

SwatLakeCityParticipantCould not agree more. I just hope Russell Westbrook will get him the ball. He needs to work to get in the right spot then call for the ball, and hopefully Westbrook sees him and gives him the ball. He has to have a bg game for the Thunder to win this series. But this series is turning out just as I expected, a tough 7 game series.

omphalosParticipantWatching this series is has become more and more apparent that KD needs to put on some more muscle; he isn’t using that wiry frame to get free with speed, so he might as well bulk up a little more so he can overcome physical defenders with more ease. Durant has all the potential in the world, he just needs to bulk up and show that alpha dog mentality he had in the World Championships.

NYK2010ParticipantHe definatley needs to get strong, with his length he’d also be a pretty good post up player I bet.
Got plenty of time to bulk up since the offseason could be very wrong.

jjonzParticipanthow much # would affect his agility, & ability to continue to be 1 of the baddest scorers on the Planet. These guy’s are already Elite athletes so they have to careful when putting on weight.
Kobe put on # when Shag left & he said he got to big.
MJ/Pip put on # later in their career.
So i hope he goes about it systematicly over 2-3 years in the Offseason as opposed to gaining 10-20 # this summer

omphalosParticipantI don’t see a problem with him adding 10 pounds this off-season, particularly if there is a lock-out. The way he’s built now, he settles for too many jumpers when he’s already beaten his defender off the dribble, with a bit more muscle he might consider driving more often.
