DanEboyParticipantI just have 3 things to say….
1. If the Bulls play like this, with Rose playing the PG position flawlessly, Boozer playing big and staying out of foul trouble, Deng playing stifling defense, Taj hitting his shot and the team playing overall great team defense….the Heat are in trouble.
2. Deng/ Taj/ Noah > Melo
3. LeBron had his breakfast and his lunch…..he better be ready for dinner.
Go Bulls!
This series is going to be ridiculous.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI am still rolling with the Heat. Should be a great series. But:
1. Rose has to shoot well, Boozer has to equal Bosh, the bench has to be awesome and Taj will undoubtedly have to be a monster presence.
2. Agreed.
3. He’ll finish it off and send Boozer Boozing at a cheap hotel thats house liquors are all Monarch.

DanEboyParticipantLet’s see how many negatives I can get on this thread…..
Bulls in 6

Moon RiverParticipantThis is a classic clash of philosphy’s. Team ball versus 2.5 superstars. If you have to think about which team is which in the East, quit reading. I am very much looking forward to see who prevails in the East. The only sure thing is that Thib’s will not be outcoached by Riley’s puppet. Should be good stuff and my main viewing points will be be can Rose with a solid supporting cast be the guy to carry a team past two super stars and when things get tough, can Wade and Lebron really co-exist. Can’t wait.

mikeyvthedonParticipantHeat in 6. Also, just so you all know, if I am right, I will triple post a thread telling all of you. Hell, I may triple post after every game the Heat win! MUHAHAHAHAHA!
Kidding, people who do that are the devil. Also, every time I see a stupid slang word with no real reason to be said, I die a little inside. Though, I love seeing a nice sweet potato!

raybeasParticipantI remember a 12-32 (or something ungodly like that) game that they lost. Seems like a flaw to me.

esperanzafleet69Participanti dont see any way the heat lose to the bulls.. the bulls have to come up big on defense against wade and lebron… brewer is gonna be a big defensive factor in this bulls heat matchup.. itll be interesting..

RUDEBOY_ParticipantThis series will be determined by which team’s role players standout….

marcusfizer21Participantno negatives from me man… you and I are on the same page…lol… If Boozer plays like the way he did in Game 6 against ATL, the game would be easier for DRose.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant"If Boozer plays like the way he did in Game 6 against ATL, the game would be easier for DRose."
As easy as it sounds.. it’s not. The only times Boozer has managed 19+pts, 11+rebs, 55%+FG shooting (last year’s stats and similar to Game 6’s stats)
- April 8th, Cleveland Cavaliers
- March 30th, Minnesota Timberwolves
- January 12th, Charlotte Bobcats
- January 10th, Detroit Pistons
- January 7th, Philadelphia 76ers
- December 31st, New Jersey Nets
- December 26th, Detroit Pistons
- December 15th, Toronto Raptors
- December 6th, Oklahoma City Thunder
Those team’s combined record: 242 – 414 (.368)
Those team’s combined record without OKC: 187 – 387 (.326)
Not exactly high level of competition.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhy did the way Boozer play in game 6 surprise alot of you guys? Have yall forgotten Boozer is a 2 time all star, has averaged a double double for his career? I know injuries have slowed him down the past few years…But when he’s healthy he’s capable of posting big numbers….
Almost everyone expected The Heat-Celtics series to be a Classic ,this series i think will be a Classic…This could go 7 games…
But the Heat are playing like they’re on a MISSION and i feel they will come out victorious….They seem to understand their roles NOW….

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Bulls have a chance to win this series, but the Heat are the favorites. They’re playing just as good, if not better, defensively and they’re playing better at the offensive end. The Heat have two superstars who can creat off of the dribble, while the Bulls only have one. That’s huge. IF Rose struggles somewhat (which is a possibility since they can throw three very good defenders at him), they’re done. IF LeBron struggles, Wade can go off for 40.
And Boozer was great last night, but do you really want to put your hopes on him to play like that consistently versus the Heat? I mean, that’s a BIG IF. IF he does though, that’s a whole new ball game because the Heat won’t be able to defend Rose the way they’re planning to.
The Bulls will have to dominate the glass and second chance points like they did during the regular season. The Bulls have more size and depth.
I think they’ll defend the Heat better than the Celtics did. Unlike the Celtics, they have more size in the middle. I also think Bogans can defend Wade better than Allen. Bogans has the size and he’s physical. Deng is an All-NBA defender in my book. And Brewer has the size, length and athleticism to defend both Wade and LeBron. The Bulls play great team defense and indivdual defense. I can’t see the Heat getting the same layups they got versus the Celtics and all of those open looks.
This will be a good series, but you have to lean towards the Heat.
