I been calling it for at least 2 years…the Lakers lack of footspeed, youth, and athleticism would eventually catch up to them. Smh. It reared its ugly head against OKC last year and teams when they dealt with Rondo and the Celtics. I HATE that they didn’t pick up Javaris Crittenton…a nice, BIG athletic combo guard this summer or at least made a play for a Devin Harris.

I love Fisher, but he is passed his time right now with the new generation of athletic PGs and fast pace in TODAY’S NBA. Should they blow up the roster? No! Come on, this a team that is still pretty darn competitive in this league (Hubie Brown voice). They just need a few tweaks. A knock down shooter and creater at the small forward position, a youthful PG with good speed and decent dribble penetration defense, and also a piece to the bench.

HATS OFF TO THE GREATEST COACH that I witnessed do it….PHIL JACKSON!!!

Who are some viable player options for LA this summer? What are some moves they can attempt to make?

    Terrance Muthafawkin Ford

Other likely candidates are Tayshaun Prince,Caron Butler,Barbosa,Ak47,and Josh Howard. As for trades they really cant do shit.

Trade bynum for dwight thats what alot of the commentators are saying and I have been dreaming of Dwight in purple and gold since kobe was helping him look for  housing in L.A. during the all star break. Obviously this dosent help with the speed. I think they should make a serious effort to sign aaron brooks and start him over d fish. Then sign CJ Miles and Barbosa. Let Theo Ratliff, matt barnes and joe smith go but resign shannon brown.
