More likely to comeback?

I think its boston because they havent even played a home game yet.  The lakers played 2 home games and lost them both and they would have to win 4 of the next 5 games and I really dont see the lakers going into dallas and winning game 3 the crowd is going to so energized and the dallas players I think are going to play way over their heads to get this win.  I think the lakers will win game 5 when their backs are truly against the wall.

 Shaq is supposedly ready for game 3 too, he’s not the player he once was but Shaq plus the home court advantage could help the Celts win the next two games and even the series.

I’m willing to bet Shaq will make his presence felt and play a key role in at least one Boston game, whether it be as a paint intimidator or a low post-scorer, he still has at least one good game left in him, and you can definitely say he’s well rested.

 Yeah, he’s still 7′ 300 + and has tons of playoff experience.  I agree, I think he’ll play a key as a deterrant to taking it to the rack and he’s still good for 10 and 5 plus a block.

I’m gonna say the Lakers because never count out a Champ. The odds are against a team but if I had to bet on those two teams it’d be the Lakers. Plus we all remember Dallas choking against Golden State (Different situation but still…)

I’m going with the Lakers as well, they know what it takes to win.

Boston they know what it takes to win as well, but if Lebron and Wade keep playing how they playing it’s going to be tough to beat them, throw in Chris Bosh and the role players, and I don’t see Boston winning that series, that Kendrick Perkins move is going to haunt them.

 I’m going with the Celtics, they haven’t played at home yet and Shaq should be returning, plus thr 4 day lay off will be great for them.  The Lakers are more in trouble because they are at full strength, yet they still lost 2 games at home.  Now with their best one on one defender out for game 3, it really puts them at a disadvantage.

Can I just say that Perkins wouldn’t have made a huge difference with the way Miami are beating Boston. The Heat are locking down defensively and making every score difficult for the Celtics; and defensively, Boston is struggling because Miami’s shooters keep getting left wide open due to ball-watching by the perimeter defenders. I don’t see how Perkins fixes any of those problems. Before you say he would deter Wade and James scoring in the paint; James has been relatively ineffectual at driving as it stands, and Wade managed to score inside pretty well even with Perkins there.

One thing I would like to see is less Delonte West… I’ve never liked this guy’s attitude and he’s not the great back-up playmaker people make him out to be, nor is he scoring particularly well off the bench. I wouldn’t mind seeing Doc throw Bradley at Wade for a little bit just to slow him down with some hustle D, and Wafer getting more playing time.

Lakers,better match up. And omphalos I 1,000% agree. They beat Miami without him on the court during the season. They miss Perkins because they were an extremely tight knit team. Rondo is still sulking because his best friend is gone. I said this after the finals last yr that they lost because Ray and Paul were dog tired and had no legs to play offense. Boston needed young productive wings to come off the bench and give Ray and Paul rest,never got that.

i hope the lakers can make the comeback.

I believe both can come back, but it is a long shot for both of them. I will say Boston because they have not wasted their home court, but if you think about it, Boston is old and favors a slower pace, and strugles against Miami’s athletes and so does LA. Except LA is playing a team that is similar to them, the difference being that LA is slightly more talented, and the Mavs have way more chemistry than LA.
