STATnMeloParticipantTrade Chauncey Billups, Landry Fields, Bill Walker and Renaldo Balkman for Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler(1 yr tender) and JR Smith(S&T)
Sign Samuel Dalembert(MLE), re-sign Shawne Williams(2yrs/4mil), draft Tyler Honeycut(better version of Fields, UCLA players do well in the NBA(Afflalo, Love, Holiday, Ariza, Collison and Barnes)
Line Up
Felton-Honeycut-Anthony-Stoudemire-Dalembert
Douglas-Smith-Chandler-Williams-Turiaf
That team would be solid probably top 4 in the East

AaronMck91ParticipantThie deal makes sense. Signing dalembert would be good getting nene would be great. I think they should try to trade toney douglas as well and try to draft Kemba Walker if he drops to them. He could be there pg of the future. Sign Cj Miles ( 3 year deal ).
Starting Lineup- Felton Miles Anthony Stoudemire- Nene or Dalembert
Bench -Walker Smith Chandler Williams Turiaf

i’m jus so offendedParticipanthahahaha so you think honeycutt is going to start over wilson chandler???? smh. why in the world would Denver take back Chauncey back?? Lawson has shown how good he’s going to be and Felton could probably get more value. Is it just for the sentimental reason?? they say it all the time bro, this is a business

JJeff6Participantso you think theyd basically just undo the trade? haha no sense

NardDog NationParticipantNot necessarily undo the trade but amend it. The Nuggets really wanted Landry Fields and with JR Smith likely going elsewhere, Denver now has a need for a legitimate 2 guard. I think it has also become clear that the Nuggets are uninterested in dishing out top-dollar for a one-and-done type team. Wilson Chandler will be a free agent and I doubt they keep him with Al Harrington locked into a 5 year deal and Gallinari looking more impressive with the team. It’s only an inevitability before they lose Felton as well, who won’t put up with playing behind Ty Lawson much longer. Needless to say, trading both Felton and Chandler (and maybe Nene) makes a lot more sense to them at this point.

NardDog NationParticipant…And truth be told, I’d prefer to make a deal for Chris Kaman as opposed to Samuel Dalembert. Kaman is under contract for one more year and would help to perserve our cap space in 2012. Plus, we could still retain Kaman while pursuing CP3, which would be the best of both worlds. And when you think about it, there is no real difference in play between Dalembert or Kaman at this point in their careers so we wouldn’t be losing out on anything.
