LMAO at Paul Pierce

 Paul Pierce is a joke. The "Captain" is the 4th best player on his team. 

I hated PP for the entire Iverson era but after we went down the shitter I learned to appreciate his game.  Yes he made a pretty pussy move in game 1, but Pierce is not a joke, nor is he the 4th best player on his team. 

Pierce pulls fouls like that all the time and the first time someone does it to him he gets all upset and James Jones almost seemed apologetic before Pierce got all puffed up, grow up Paul.

Paul Pierce does that BS to everybody and he wants to pick a fight with one of the nicest players in the league.

I would say Paul Pierce is the 3rd best player on his team though.  You can have a bad game from Paul Pierce and still win but when KG or Rondo have bad games, the Celtics usually lose.

Pierce is second best on his team. In terms of overall players.

Look at all the injuries this year, KG, Rondo, Shaq, JO, Perkins(when he was there), west. This guy held the team together when they all were hurt at one time or another and they still had a pretty good record.

Being a former Jayhawk I like Pierce but it was pretty stupid and his fault to react the way he did. They needed him on the raod and you just don’t do that as the captain. He should have got tossed for the 1st one but not the 2nd imo.

 All im saying is I would take Rondo, Allen, and KG over Pierce

I think the Celts came in trying to intimidate Miami, and it didn’t work. It works mainly on weaker teams. The Lakers do it all the time. If you go in and intimidate the team your playing, you’ve won have the battle already, the mental one. Problem is, it backfired.

 This is nothing new.  And remeber that he also got into a confrontation with Wade on his second tech, so he doesnt just mess with the soft players.  Its just his playing style and its him trying to get into the other teams head.  

I would take Rondo over Pierce, that’s about it. Garnett has slowed down on offense and honestly is a little overrated on defense. Allen is a jump shooter at this point, that’s about it.

 I will take Ray Allen over Paul Pierce any day of the week……. 

 Pierce is the "Captain" because he is the go to guy when they need one.Was he having a bitch moment? YS. Did he do anything to be thrown other than set a good screen and get barrel’d through by D-Wade acting like a fullback. The are soft as Charmin. If what J.O. did earlier in the game was a flagrant, then Jones’ fould shoulda been one, and D-Wade intentional blast to the chest should have as well. Not the first time D-Wade has pulled this kind of act. He did the same thing to Kobe a few years ago with a blast to the back of his knee. Pierce is a bitch, but let’s not act as if this first game was played a physical level that the C’s are usually afforded, and the Heat recognized that they were being allowed a little more and took advantage of it. congrats. can’t wait to see em’ in the Garden. I could see them splitting both courts.

Miami came out with some physical play and it got under Boston’s skin. Its one game tho,let’s see how the C’s, and more importantly the refs react.
