Sam_HinkieParticipantThe Pacers need to address 2 things this summer. 1st they need a SG that can create for himself and others. 2nd they need a PF that can play with Hibbert.
What do you all think about the following SG free agents and how’d they fit with Pacers?
SG: JR Smith, Jamal Crawford, Michael Pietrus, Jason Richardon, Barbosa, and Caron Butler
I think JR Smith would be a great fit if he would come to Indiana

bennydabullParticipantPaul George was only a rookie, give him time to grow damn….
What they really need is a 4, I think Hansbrough would be better off the bench

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI don’t know about the SG thing man, I think Paul George can ball and he’s awesome defensively. How many rookies who aren’t PG’s would have been assigned to guard D Rose? He needs as many minutes as can be afforded to him next year. Their main need is another couple of bigs to stick in that rotation. McRoberts showed his ineptness during this series, he’ll be gone, Foster is also a FA, he’s pretty old but they could re sign him, he’s quality. I say try to get Faried, Tristan Thompson or Biyambo. Hibbert can handle the offensive load down low. They could use another wing in the rotation as well. AJ Price showed his worth. They like Brandon Rush so I feel like JR isn’t going to be that great of an upgrade. I wonder what they’ll do about Born Ready, very interested in that.

Too coolParticipantPaul George is going to be a go to guy in the future for the Pacers. He’s oozing with potential

BKKnicksfanParticipantIf I was Indiana ( Call me crazy), I’d trade Danny Granger. He’s good, but he seems to have hit a wall with how good he can be. I think Indiana should move him before he gets to that Andre Iguadala level of being good, but not a all star, which makes it tough to get value for him

aamir543ParticipantI know they made the playoffs and gave the bulls a run for their money, but they have a lot of holes ot fill. they finished the regular season well becasue they played hard every single night and gave it their all, but I can look at several teams below them that could be better than them next season. With that said, the only way they can be a contender is tank a year and get super star, because cp3 or dwill or dwight are not going to Indiana

Sam_HinkieParticipantI agree that Paul George played great and has a ton of potential and that PF is also a need. But I still think Pacers need someone that can really create for themselves.

omphalosParticipantThey have Paul George and Stephenson as perimeter players. Stephenson could be the guy who can create for himself, he just needs to get his head right. George is more of a shooter than driver from what I’ve seen, which is the same as Granger, who I agree they should consider trading if the deal is right.
If Indiana could steal Nene from Denver for a reasonable price to play PF this team would be dangerous.
