    im one of the biggest Mavz fans and Game 4 was very disappointing. There is no reason why dirk shouldnt get the ball over 50% of the time in the 4th his avg in the 4th is 10+ points. Coach Ricky needs to get his head out his butt and play Cory Brewer. Why isnt he playing he defenes, plays around the rim, and has size. Now tell me this at the end of each game he has JJ, Kidd, and JET WHY? JJ is a L on D and they knw that so why is he in at the end of each game and Stevenson should of been on ROY not Shawn cause that ish wasnt working. Like i said im one of the biggest mavz fan and i dont want them out of playoffs so soon again because every team that they lost to in the first round has gone on the lose in the 2nd to teams that dallas would beat and last night felt like the 06 FINALS all over again

    Would you rather lose in the 1st round or 2nd round. dont be stupid I would go as far as I can in the playoffs.

    Carlisle has made some bonehead coaching moves in the past, but he has also made some solid ones.  I have been curious as to why Stevenson isn’t getting more minutes when Roy is out there as well.  DS just starts the game, plays about 10 minutes, and then just disappears. Barea hasn’t been effective at all in this series, with the exception of Game 1. He hasn’t been able to get in the lane and draw fouls and isn’t hitting any perimeter shots and as you mentioned he has been a liability on defense.  Miller will post him up every time and either score or draw a foul.

    I think Stevenson will get some more PT late in the game to close it out.  I’m interested to see how the Mavs play Monday night.  I’m sure they will play fine for the first 3 quarters, but the 4th quarter is where they will have to prove if they have any mental toughness.  I think they will sneak out a win in Dallas, lose in Portland, and then Game 7 will be a toss up.
