OnionsParticipantAnyone have him being drafted? Maybe a Korver-type role in the NBA.
He’s got good height (6-6) and is seriously one of the purest shooters college basketball has ever seen. I mean the guy took six 3’s a game and still made over .50% for the entire season.

darius3milesParticipantI was thinking the exact same thing a couple weeks ago, wondering why he couldnt be a Korver type in the league.

ProudGrandpaParticipantWhat is the difference between Korver and Jason Kapono? Why is Korver, basically nothing but a shooter, the 6th man on the best team in the league, but Kapono, who is widely regarded as the best pure shooter in the league along with Ray Allen, a guy who sits deep on some team’s bench?
Diebler could just as easily be that guy who sits at the end of the bench, getting invited to every other 3-pt contest in the process.

JNixonParticipantThe difference is those guys (Korver and Kapono) have prototypical size. Kapono probably has above average size as a matter of fact. Diebler certainly has a chance to make a team and even get drafted though, he’s not as big as Korver and Kapono, but he’s about 6’5 or 6’6 210 and he’s a SG so he has the size as well. It depends on team need who picks him up and if he sticks.

scoutguruParticipantNo way he goes undrafted. I’ll just say that. I see him going in the early 40s.

ProudGrandpaParticipantJ-Nixon Iggy- I meant what is the difference between Korver and Kapono. You just lumped them together yourself, so I don’t see how Korver is getting so much more of an opportunity.
