OhCanada-ParticipantDuring the lockout many NBA players who need money and are not under contract will undoubtedly make their way to International Basketball. What I am wondering is, when the new CBA comes into effect and NBA players are making a fraction of what they used to, will more players just resort to making their cash in Europe? Im guessin role players like Lienis Klieza and Josh Childress would struggle to make 5-mil a year after the new CBA, let alone 3-mil per. So how many of these types of players will we see flee to Europe? Will this prevent guys like Freeland, Pleiss, Tomic, Claver, etc. from ever making an NBA debut?

the I in winParticipantI don’t think their will be a mass exodus of the nba but I could see a few role players going overseas to play, liking it, and never coming back.

sheltwon3ParticipantEveryone will not be able to play overseas. They have a rule to limit outside players so it will be interesting what happens and who get a chance and who doesnt.

OhCanada-ParticipantGuys who are in the same position as maybe Manny Haris and Samardo Samuels from Cleveland could leave and never come back, say what you must but those are NBA players in my opinion.

cward23ParticipantThat rule is only in a few places. A lot of teams can have as many american players as they want. The problem is that every NBA player wont be able to make it over there, some will get cut, not many but some i’m sure
