OhCanada-ParticipantPost your mock draft here. I will give it a rating from 1-10 and reasoning why I feel that way. If you could rate mine and critisize it the same way Id appreciate it.

I would give your mock an 8
Positives:
- I like the respect you gave Klay Thompson and Marshon
- Incorporation of European players was good throughout
- Where you put the players looks to be very close or right on where they will be drafted, for the most part
- You have the stars of the PIT: Macklin, Tyus, Amaning, Wannamaker
Negatives:
- Tristan Thompson and Jordan Hamilton are missing in your mock, even though they havent declared yet I would include them
- Mirotic just signed an extension with his Euro club so he probably is out of the draft
- I think the Celtics at 25 have a better chance of getting Tyler than Smith, I dont think they’ll reach for Smith
- I would take out Justin Holliday, Chris Wright and Rick Jackson since they all struggled at PIT
- Finally I would add Jamine Peterson and Jimmy Butler, Butler looked tremendous at PIT and Peterson played well in D-League this year

SwatLakeCityParticipantThis is in response to Oh Canada’s mock:
- I don’t think MJ would pick someone as soft as Motie, and they really don’t need him when they already have Tyrus Thomas. I certainly Motie hope will not be playing Center like Bargnani has had to do. I see him more going to Milwaukee than anything else.
- I also don’t thnk Kanter will go below Vesely. Raptors need a Center very badly and Vesely is not really a Center. (more of a PF if you ask me) So if the draft order stays the same, I don’t Vesely going before Kanter. I also don’t see Utah picking another big man. (I see both Morris brothers being PF’s in the NBA.
- And Utah does not really need another PF or C. I see Utah filling up 2 maybe 3 postions with there 2 draft picks so far. (They could do a trade, you never know) I see them filling up the SG position with Alec Burks (you already have that, so no disagreement here) and then either the backup PG with Jimmer or the SF with Terrance Jones or Kawhi Leonard.
But not a bad mock at all. I’d give it about a 9.

omphalosParticipantI usually wait until the lottery is done, it has such a huge effect on where people are taken, especially in this draft where BPA is unclear outside of top two.

joecheck88Participantya, that is what is messing me up is the lottery thing. i want to post a real one after the lottery and the deadline for underclassmen to pull out.

Good draft. Too low on Motiejunas and Thompkins. I doubt Motie slips past Milwaukee, and Thompkins shouldnt slip past Denve. I also think Honecutt, Norris Cole and Reggie Jackson are too high. I really like the fact that you have Washington selecting Burks I felt he may go there. 8/10

Not much negative with your mock once again. Said it before and Ill say it again you hae one f the finest mocks on the site.Other then Jimmer going to Golden State which I strongly disagree with I would be nitpiicking to say anything was incorrect. I wanna say 10/10 But Im gonna say 9/10.

I think Leslie is too high, as is Bertans, and Chicago probally wont take 2 combo gaurds. Buford is staying, Fisher is way too high, Singler too low, Gobert not in the draft and sojme more 2nd round blunders. Looks like you know whats going on, just alot of those guys arent in the draft or are overrated like Mcghee. 6/10

OhCanada-ParticipantHeres what I think about the draft. Kanter has injury issues apparently, if they are bad and a team does its homework they wont select Kanter. Kanter could be Dejaun Blaired out of Top 5. I dont see Bryan Colengelo taking that risk with cap flexibility, a handful of C’s available in free agency, Bargnani as a trade asset, and needs at SF. I think Toronto would rather acquire the safe pick like usual then the risky one. Vesely and Valanciunas are more likely picks.
As far as guys like Reggie Jackson, Jordan Hamilton, Tristan Thompson, Bebe Nogiera, Augusto Lima, Darius Morris, Iman Shumpert, Deandre Liggins, etc. who are either feeling out the draft process or have not declared I’m leaving them out until we see the final draft list.

SwatLakeCityParticipantJust moved Jimmer up to 9th in my mock. Doing this forced me to change a few picks so I did, and you click on the link on the left for the finished result. Might switch Leonard and Jones depending on workouts but for now this is how it looks. Check it out. (Maybe this will bump it up to 10/10. Just kidding I really don’t care what my rating is but it is nice to know that my mock is one of the finest mocks on this site)
