First we’ve got people saying Rose is better than Lebron. Now they are comparing him to Jordan? This is all too premature. He is a very good player who is lucky to play on a very good team; a team that does just fine when Rose isn’t on the court, though of course it does better when he is.  They could win the championship or go out in the first round (like last year, I believe). I know he is MVP, but can’t we keep this in perspective?

Your Rose threads never serve a purpose, they just show a highlight video, please stop posting threads unless you have an actual topic to talk about. Bananaman thanks you.

Rose is a tremendous player, but we as fans, former players, and etc lose touch with reality. We put people too high too early. When Mike played, you had to have like two are three straight seasons of playing well before people considered you an allstar. Now you have one half of a good season and people say you are great. Rose is the MVP and deservingly so, but his resume is not long enough to start putting his name with hall of famers. Lebron is end the same boat, the media made him, sure he is a physical beast, but suspect jumper, no go to move, no post game, and no championship. But yet he is the best in the game. WOW. Maybe the most talented but best i dont know.

Someone before the season pointed out to Bill Simmons that the Bulls could have had Derrick Rose, Lebron James, Dywane Wade, Chris Bosh, Joakim Noah, and Taj Gibson.

THAT would have been a great team!

I stated he is very talented, and he is a great passer for his position, but Im not referring to just this year. People have been saying that is he is the best in the game the past three years. The best doesnt run to another man team, the best makes players come to his team and carries them. WOW.

So, you don’t think Lebron was carrying the Cavaliers for the last few years? Have you seen how they are doing since he left? Or do you think it is really the loss of Big Z that caused them to DROP 42 WINS in one season!?!

Lebron didn’t "run" to another man’s team. He left Cleveland once his seven years was up. Everyone leaves Cleveland. This should have been expected. Miami is nice. South Beach is nice. If I were Lebron, I would have gone to the Big Apple or Chicago, but  I’m a big city guy (and I’ve lived in both those cities, so I’m partial to them). But going south to Florida, the land of sexy Cuban Mamitas and no income tax, well I can’t fault a man for that choice.

^^Dont be silly they were all going to play together, Toronto has taxes and is outside of America so that didnt work, Cleveland sucks, and Miami is warm next to an ocean and has Riley. Miami wins.
