stepback3ParticipantPortland trade with Nola for their first round pick this year and then Portland traded it as a piece to get Gerald Wallace. So why does the mock draft have them taking the Blazers pick?
PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired forward Gerald Wallace from the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for center Joel Przybilla, forward Dante Cunningham, forward/center Sean Marks, a 2011 conditional first round pick acquired from New Orleans and a conditional 2013 first round pick, it was announced today by General Manager Rich Cho.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI’m not quite sure I understand your confusion. From reading the trade you have their: Portland obtained a pick from the Hornets, probaby part of the Jerryd Bayless trade during the offseason. Then Portland traded that pick to the Bobcats along with Joel Pryzbilla, Cunnigham, and Sean Marks for Gerald Wallace.
This site has the Bobcats with the Blazers pick via Hornets. As far as I am concerned that is correct, so I don’t see what your confusion is.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI think he is wondering where is the Blazers 1st round pick. They traded away the pick from NO to the Bobcats but I’m sure the Blazers kept their own 1st round pick for this year.

stepback3Participantthe mock should have taken away Nola pick not the Blazers

SwatLakeCityParticipantWell if they did make a mistake. It should probably be where the Hornets are at. (pick 20) Because if there was Jerryd Bayless trade then according to the order on this site, the Hornets would have both the 20th and 21st pick which just wouldnt make any sense.

SwatLakeCityParticipantJust looked up the order and what it should be. The 18th pick will go to the Wizards from Atlanta (as part of the Mike Bibby trade) 19th pick goes to Bobcats from the Hornets via Blazers (part of Jerryd Bayless and Gerald Wallace trades) 20th pick goes the Wolves (from Memphis via Utah) as part of Ronnie Brewer and Al Jefferson trades) 21st pick goes to the Blazers (their own pick)

kaceyParticipantThe order will be fixed when Aran updates the mock again. The 2011 draft trade details at the bottom have just been corrected. Small error that is now under wraps.
Just for clarification the Bobcats get the Hornets pick this year (via Blazers), so the Blazers will hold onto their 2011 first round pick.
