NJHooper95ParticipantOne of the most electricifying players in NBA history is now a man trying to function in a world that use to cater to him. A.I has not figured out that he is no longer a star on the court and no longer a icon in society. Sad story.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant^
Yeah, it is pretty pathetic that the cop pulled someone over for something as simple as not signaling.
Anybody else think it could have involved race? The fact that two African American’s were driving a Lamborghini?
I know it’s a sensative subject but I’ve never been pulled over for not signaling. Not even when I had a cop right behind me.

Jlv2011Turns out Iverson was breaking the law. He fought the law and the law won.

JoeWolf1^ I’m not saying racial profiling doesn’t happen because I know it does, but I was with my dad years ago and he got pulled over for not signaling when changing lanes and he’s white and was driving a minivan.
But when you get pulled over you don’t blow up at the officer, even if he is being a dick. You take your warning or $100 fine. If Iverson wouldn’t have blown up, his friend would have gotten a ticket and they would have been out of there in 15 minutes, if he has 10 cars he can pay a 100 dollar fine for a traffic violation and keep his tags updated, I make less than 50,000 a year and I can manage to do that.

4th dimensionA black man, driving a $250,000 car. I think race has a bit to do with it.

thunderbear82ParticipantWell I think it’s important to point out that he went back and apologised. I have been pulled over a few times and I can understand someone wanting to curse out a police officer.

Tha_PrinceParticipantThat is a pretty minor offence, but in reality cops see a $250,000 car they think the person driving it can afford a petty fine. Cops have quota’s so handing it out to people who can afford it makes sense to them. (Not saying I agree with this haha).
It was Iverson’s cooperation with them that made it spiral into a bigger deal than it should of been. Race could of been an issue as well, would of liked to see the race of the officer haha.
