Just looking at this guy from a physical and athletic standpoint it is amazing to watch. He physically and athletically looks like a small Dwight Howard, and that doesnt just get thrown around much. That plus the fact that he sounds like he has a head on his shoulder and is very respectful towards the game will make NBA Scouts drool. I wonder what his vert is it looks nasty, he looks evry explosive but it could just be his length playing tricks on me…His jumper is uglier then a Roseanne portrait thou.

SwatLakeCityParticipantThanks. I’d give you a point but there’s no point system on your post.
I’m still wondering where his stock is at. I’ve heard he is another version Serge Ibaka. Serge was drafted in the late first round of the 2008 draft. So maybe Bismack’s stock is also in the late first round. Or maybe its higher like mid first and Philly could possibly who desperately need a big man. Currently I have him going early 2nd. I’ve also heard he’s a little overrated, but just what I’ve heard not what I think.

BKKnicksfanParticipantPhiladelphia doesn’t really draft european players.
I think his stock will be between 13-31 personally.

mamadouParticipant18 YO.
6,5 pts 5 boards 2,3 blocks over 17 minutes in ACB.
I’ll take him any days over the morris bro.
That’s strength, thats’ length(nasty 7’7 wingspan for a 6’8 player), that’s shot blocking and rebounding…that’s true upside(3 years younger than them).

iguapops420ParticipantExtremely high on Bismack. Literally the first time I’ve seen or heard the kid, but just listening to him talk. The kid is heraded in the right direction. HUMBLE. He’s not Serge, but he’s still a very likeable player. Probably a slight bit more physical than Serge.

So you are choosing to ignore the 2.0 fouls over those 16.6 minutes and 1.7 turnovers despite not being the furthest thing from a creator. That is nice, it is not as if negative statistics translate to the NBA or anything. It is not as if there is a reason a player is on the floor for the amount of time he is.
Saer Sene averaged 3.1 points and 4.1 rebounds over 10 minutes in the first division of Belgium the year before he got drafted. He had a 7′ 8" wingspan for a 7-footer so my guess is by your logic "that’s shot blocking and rebounding…that’s true upside(3 years younger than them)" as well.

whateverParticipantSo you are comparing the Belgium League to the ACB thats wise man, that shows knoledge in International Basketball… not

WizardofOzParticipantFor those saying Bismack Biyombo is just another Saer Sene, he’s been doing this same stuff for a while now in the ACB. Totally different. And Saer Sene couldn’t get off the bench for Pepinster, the worst team in Belgium. Bismack Biyombo plays for a playoff team in Spain.

OhCanada-Participant^^^Checkmate.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantBiyombo’s elevation to the ACB was because Fuenlabrada was under a financial crunch and had to sell Esteban Batista to Caja Laboral. It is not as if Biyombo was setting the LEB on fire. He was going off for 3 turnovers and 3 fouls in 20 minutes in that league too.
But, of course, you guys knew that, right?
Sene played for a club that finished in 7th place in the BLB, which was not the worst. He also played in 25 games, which is more games and comparable minutes to Biyombo. I suggest you tap that infinite well of knowledge you like to come off as having and check your facts. Making stuff up doesn’t make you smarter.

This is just a #winning statement for so many reasons. Beautifully executed, full of wit and a surprise at the end.
