festar35ParticipantThe Raptors just beat Orlando and kept it close against Chi-Town yesterday and the play of Bayless and Derozan has been really good in both. I was annoyed the day the Pacers traded away Bayless but has he found his place in Toronto in a back-court with Derozan? Could these two turn into one of the more stellar duo’s in the league?

ilike.panochasParticipantToronto is way too commited to Jose Calderon and when he comes back, Bayless is back on the bench. I do think Bayless should been given more starts this season. Bayless is clearly a better player and plays with more purpose when he’s starting compared to when he’s coming off the bench.

WizardofOzParticipantCalderon’s injury is a good thing for Bayless and the Raptors. Bayless always plays better when he’s starting. I still don’t think he’s a starting PG though. He’s not a pure point and isn’t a great passer and floor general. I think that he will be a scorer off the bench a la Barbosa. Jerryd Bayless should not affect their decision to draft Irving, Walker, or Knight if they’re available when they pick.

Toronto16ParticipantAdd Enes Kanter or Harrison Barnes to this team, and we could be really dangerous.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m tired of hearing that Calderon days are numbered, it is very obvious he is going nowhere. I just hope that this is Bayless permanent home unless they draft another PG. I would hate for him to have a Sebastian Telfair type of career.

Tha_PrinceParticipantTriano said a month ago how he’s trying to get Bayless more minutes in the rotation. He’s at 20mpg right now which isn’t bad but I really think he could be this teams starting PG.
I used to be for up a Calderon dismissal but I think his passing coming off the bench for the Raps would be huge and compliments the scoring game of Bayless.
Was an awesome game to watch today as they actually showed flashes of toughness! HA who would of thought that.

iminipandaParticipantA core of Barnes/Kanter, Ed Davis, and Derozan seems like a strong group in the coming years. A guard and 2 bigs that play differently seems like a good path to take.

thparadoxParticipantI’m still skeptical of Derozan. He can definitely score, but he has a long way to go on the defensive end.
Ed Davis, Amir and Bayless all have solid potential on both ends of the floor.
However, we really need a superstar to be our franchise player. There’s no point in being a mediocre team with no stars.

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantif bayless keeps getting time, he will develop into a very good point guard. him and derozen in the backcourt could be special once their chemistry gets better and they develop into more well-rounded players.

Im not too sure on how legit Calderons injury is. I think he could play tonight but wont because they want Bayless to shine..If Bayless can figure out the intagible side of the game he ould be a very good player.
