kindofblueParticipantReally appreciate the time spent with this. And it’s realistic which is nice. It’s always fun to play GM.
Center – Personally I don’t like Kwame Brown for the knicks and Greg Oden seems like too much of risk.
Other options – Samuel Dalembert or find another Mozgov type. Theres a kid from the bronx, jarrid Forest, or kid out of Montana (brian qvale) both that could work. They probably won’t be drafted.
PF – I prefer Justin Harper to Marcus Morris, but who knows. Maybe they can buy another draft pick as well.
SF – I think tayshun pricne would fit better, altough Battier is a smart choice.
SG – Daequan is fine
PG – Whatever
This should make them more competitive while giving them some options for 2012 (howard or Cp3).

HotSnotParticipantBillups won’t take a 3 year 12 mil deal from the Knicks. There will be another team out there willing to pay much more. Perhaps a 3yr 21 mil contract.
I don’t see how Oden will be had for a 24mil, 4 year deal. Every team in the league would sign him to that deal. Injury history or not its too cheap a deal to pass up. Good luck on it being the Knicks who get him at that price.
Cook’s 5 year 20 mil deal starting at 2 mil a season? How does that work? 2 mil with the maximum 15% raises doesn’t total 20 mil after 5 years.

mamadouParticipantA new coach….who doesn’t hate big mens, true big mens, C, legits C.
Badly need size, rebounding, toughness, defense, role players and playmaking abilities.
Dalembert should be the top priority but he’ll be coveted around the league(think heat).
Guys like reggie evans, jeff foster, k-mart should be a targeted too.
In the draft, a skilled PF who could back up stat, i’m high on trey thompkins, the morris brothers are a joke.
I don’t see the PG, maybe work something for ramon sessions if the cavs are in position to draft irving.

BKKnicksfanParticipantThis is awful for a list of reasons. I think everyone else explained it.

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantthese are some nice additions even though you are giving away too much money to players that dont deserve that much…like daquean cook, he doesnt deserve 5yrs 20mil…and the contract for billups he wont accept…besides that solid additions.
