    Rapper/Nets owner Jay-Z stirs up trouble when interacting with Kentucky’s basketball team after a win to advance to the Final Four. After the win all the Kentucky players were throwing up the Roc sign & posing for pictures with Jay-Z. The NCAA will look into investigating in the matter for the simple fact that he was interacting with players that are still enrolled.

     you’d think he would know better, an owner can’t talk to college players untill they sign an agent. I doubt he did anything wrong, but I wonder what a punishment would be?

    I just think this is the most ridiculous story. I know it is a supposed violation, but do you honestly think it is a big deal? Jay-Z is a public figure, people meet him all of the time and idolize him. He is not a typical owner. What is Kentucky supposed to do, "Ah, we met Jay-Z, but it sucked since it was a violation." I mean, their are WAY bigger fish to fry than this minnow of a situation.

    This is a stupid rule though because its not like college when you can recruit a player to your team, How exactly is he gaining any type of advantage, it is very trivial rule because you draft players you dont recruit so im my eyes its not really as violation bbecause it does not give him any type of edge, he was simply congratulating a team on their victory

    I agree just like in 2007 when Danny Ainge sat next to KD’s mom during the tournament, he got fined like 30k. These rules are stupid, Talking to players has no infulence on kids what soever- its not like you can convince to join a certain nba team since its though draft, that won’t happen. So should Doc Rivers not be able to talk or see his son since he’s on his way to duke, MJ not talk to Marcus Jordan of UCF.

    Meanwhile, MJ promises the entire UNC team new shoes and no one says a word. Shows the level MJ is on.
