Lotto StudParticipantWhich 1st Round projected player will be the one to fall off the furthest like Whiteside last year?

BradfomsParticipantHonestly, I’m going to say Perry Jones, but he won’t fall to the second round, but maybe into the later teens. I say this only because we saw the same thing happen to Gerald Green, with all the T-Mac comparisons around him and the potential and all that. Also, Baylor not making the tournament certainly doesn’t help things. Nothing against Jones personally, I think he’s an intriguing prospect, I’m just trying to guess what other teams’ management might think…

DanEboyParticipantI say one of the 3 Euros. GM’s have backed off International players the last couple of years for a lot of reasons. Signability being the number one reason in my opinion, and also guys like Yi, Darko, Bargnani not living up to the hype.

Russell0WestbrookParticipantI’m going out on a limb and saying Terrence Jones the talent is there but something is missing with this kid and it seems coach cal is always yelling at him he also doesn’t seem to play hard all the time. Another question is what is his position?

delfamParticipant^ I’d have to agree with Terrence Jones. He doesn’t really have a position and I don’t see what skills he has that can transition to the NBA.

iminipandaParticipantConsidering he was a potential lottery pick last year and his numbers dipped last year I dont see anyway he can get picked in the first round. His stock will continue to tank.

BKKnicksfanParticipantI disagree about Terrance Jones. Bill Simmons brought this up and I agree, he’s sorta like Gerald Wallace, where he can play the 3 and 4 because he’s a solid rebounder. Even though Calipari yells at him, he tries hard from the games I’ve seen.
I think Enes Kanter, mainly because the past knee injuries

Providencefriars15ParticipantI dont really see someone who falls from lottery to second round like Whiteside and Deandre Jordan but I could see someone in the 25-35 range fall hard like Demetri Mccamey, Malcom Lee, or Doron Lamb.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantgoing by Aran’s current mock right now William Buford is the guy who will fall to the second round

TRC1991Participanti am gonna say kawhi leonard falls…he doesnt have the offensive game that you want from a small forward…plus my guess is he will measure small (6’5” barefoot)

delfamParticipant^ except he has great defense and hustle, I see him being a Shane Battier type player with a lesser shot, pretty good for a late lottery to mid first round pick.

ghettosermonParticipantIt is true that teams have backed off drafting Euro talent in the first outside of the lottery as if you draft them in the 2nd round it isn’t a guaranteed contract. Will have to see which International players stay in the draft before I can guess who might fall out of the first. As far as player falling out of the first I think Chris Singleton might fall. I will say though that Singleton will be a great/versatile defender in the NBA no matter where he is drafted. I do think his stock will fall though in workouts as he’s a motor player. His skills are not great and he is a tweener.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantOne of the international kids…they rarely pan out anyway. Look at top 10 European picks over the last decade. They rarely work out.

WizardofOzParticipantTerrence Jones hasn’t been all that impressive since Maui. He’s probably their 6th most important player right now, and remember that most sites didn’t have him as a 1-&-done. I could definitely see him falling into the late teens.
