     28/18/5…. I was at the game and wow this kid once he gets his head straight is going to be great. Him and Monta dominated the game (Monta got 37/13/7)

    McGee did a decent job on Lee but Lee still got his (33/12/5) but McGee had some nasty tip dunks and killed us at the line (10-11)

     

    Dies he have all star potential in your opinion? I think he does

    He has what it takes to be a Marcus Camby type defender if he puts his mind to it.

    Since when is it ” decent” to have your man ( david lee) go off for 30+, a more accurate statement would be ” javale made david lee look like a young Kevin Garnett

    McGee was straight up balling. Granted it’s against the Warriors front court, but you can’t blame him for taking advantage of a good matchup. Honestly, considering what McGee was looking like just a month ago (I was in extreme favor of benching his but) he has been playing tremendous lately, just letting thegame come to him instead of going for style points all the time. He still has much to learn, but I can’t help but be excited about how he’s been playing. Kid needs two things, muscle and to get his head right in terms of defending properly and when to take advantage of his length, skill, and athleticism on offense. There may be hope for him yet and give him credit when it’s due.

    Also, yi was guarding lee for most of the first half. mcgee did a pretty decent job on the defensive side. he altered a ton of shots, didnt bite on too many pump fakes and grabbed rebounds over everyone.
