JNixonParticipantBoston College-Troy Bell. I liked his game in college. Good scorer with nice athleticism too.
Duke-I always, always have liked Jay Williams. As a commentator, and as a player. He played for Duke when I 1st got into college basketball.
FSU-Von Wafer. He was an explosive athlete with a sweet jumper. Nice combo.
Georgia Tech (I think you mean)-ISHMAEL MUHAMMAD! He was a GREAT dunker.
Maryland-I liked John Gilchrist. He was inconsistent and a little cocky, but he was a nice scorer. I also liked Mike Jones, but he underachieved IMO. I thought Jones would be an NBA player after watching him in HS.
Miami (FL)-Jack McClinton. Dude was a fearless shooter.
UNC- I LOVED Ty Lawson. How he played that fast, controlled tempo, and was very efficient is so incredible. I also liked Joe Forte and Ed Cota back in the day.
NC State- Julius Hodge. He was fun to watch. Great ball handler and passer who played a streetball type game.
Wake Forest-Ishmael Smith. I got to play him and I’ve met him. Great guy. I’m rooting for him in the NBA.
Kansas- I used to like J.R. Giddens before he got kicked off the team lol. He was an athletic shooter.
Oklahoma-DREW LAVENDER before he transferred. FTW lol. But I liked Kevin Bookout too, he was a bulldog.
Oklahoma State-Byron Eaton HANDS DOWN. Was out of shape his 1st 2 and a half years, but he came back with a vengeance after that and was one of the top 3 PG’s in the Big 12.
Texas-A.J. Abrams. Not even close either lol.
Cincinnati- Eric Hicks. He was a wide-bodied bulldog down and he was only like 6’5!
UConn- Rudy Gay. His physical ability and talent was SUPER interesting to me back when he was at UConn.
G’Town- Definitely gotta say Jessie Sapp. I liked him. He was a tough and smart player.
Louisville- EDGAR SOSA was so fun to watch. He played with a playground mentality.
Pittsburgh- ASHTON GIBBS. I mean, seriously. The guys jump shot Is CASH.
St. John’s- Erick Barkley. I thought he could be similar to Russell Westbrook if he didn’t leave so early. Let the wrong folks get in his ear.
Syracuse- Gerry McNamara no doubt. He was real confident.
Villanova- Scottie Reynolds. He had a great career, and I followed him a bunch too.
West Virginia- I liked Da’Sean Butler, great person and I hated that he busted his knee.
Illinois-Dee Brown, and it’s not that close lol.
Indiana- Marco Killingsworth! I know someone remembers that big guy LOL. 6’5 300. ha
Michigan- I liked Manny Harris the best I guess.
Michigan State- Shannon Brown. Great athlete and defender who was a good shooter too. I thought he would be good from the jump in the NBA, but it took him some time. Glad he’s got it going though.
Ohio State- Daequan Cook. I don’t know why lol.
Memphis- Derrick Rose. I remember watching him play for the 1st time, and thinking he was a freak of nature.
Arizona- (I became an Iguodala fan in the NBA) Salim Stoudamire. I used to go outside and practice shooting 30 foot jumpers, jumping as high as I could and making my release super quick. Had one of the sweetest shots you’ll ever see. He was a WEIRD dude though.
Oregon- Tajuan Porter. He was soooo small lol, but he was a lethal shooter though when he got hot. I liked Bryce Taylor too.
UCLA- Jordan Farmar. He was a good passer in college. I thought he played smart.
USC- Nick Young. I remember watching the moves he had in his arsenal and his smooth game and he honestly has some Kobe-esque moves. I like Nick Young’s offensive talent, he’s just not that smart or well-rounded though.
Washington-Nate Robinson hands down. No question.
Alabama- Senario Hillman. GREAT athlete, he’s getting ready to gradute too.
Florida- Anthony Roberson. He was a GUNNER lol. Fun to watch.
Georgia- Travis Leslie. FTW.
Kentucky- John Wall. Was a huge fan last year of him. I thought he was super athletic and talented, but I thought he was mature too. There were some (unfair?) questions about his character, and I thought he was a good guy.
Tennessee- J.P. Prince. REAL versatile and athletic guy, and I used to like when he saluted after he caught alley-oops lol.

PureshooterParticipantI don’t know if any of you remember Curtis Staples for Virgina, but I loved watching that guy play. Every game he would shoot you to a victory or shoot you out of the game completely. That explains why he never made the league, but it was still fun to watch.
