PJax said that ABynum flip a switch & realized what he can & cannot do on the Basketball Court when the Lakers Beat Boston in February.  I wonder if ARandolph is starting to realize the type of Player he can be in this League. Some Guy’s i wonder about, like Tyrus Thomas will he ever gives us the Potential that we thought he had.  It seems like a ton of Players have flip a switch & started to play well. I hope this extends into next season

    My Flip Switching List

    THansbourough

    TDouglas

    KLowry

    JDudley

Please feel free to add others.

The thing is Andrew Bynum is a high risk high reward player when he was drafted just like Randolph. They both had the potential to become stars. While the guys you listed seem to have pretty much reached their potential especially Hansborugh and Dudley. I can see Lowry getting a tiny bit better and Douglas getting better but not like "flipping the switch"

Lol..based on what?..he’s not doing anything different then in the past. He’s putting up 11ppg and 5reb this month. He averaged a lil more than that for his whole second season

After a 31 and 11 performance v. the Mavs, Randolph just put up 24 and 15 v. OKC.  Im not ready to say he’s finally coming into his own, but I will admit, as a T-Wolves fan, this excites me a bit.

Our D needs alot of help and does no justice for this lineup, but if you go into a lineup of Beasley @ the 3, Randolph @ 4, and Love @ the 5, that is one of the top rebounding frontcourts I’ve seen in a while.  Throw in Wes @ the 2 and he gets his as well.

Has sasha and jordan Farmar flipped a switch as well since they are putting up better stats now that they are playing for N.J? Or a couple of players on the Cavs? Jermaine taylor for the kings?

I hope everyone knows that I could not smile any bigger than when Kevin Love gets hurt an Anthony Randolph gobbles up every one of those available stats. There is just something so right about it to me. It is beyond a 2-year old on Christmas morning smile. All those "Love’s numbers are beyond argument people" are going to have to eat it when captainbum Randolph takes all those stats as well as all those Ls in his place. All those people who thought LaMarcus Aldridge was less deserving of an All-Star nod because of those numbers better hop on that broken retread Anthony Randolph bandwagon. You are going to be in for another big crash, but maybe you enjoy the ride. I know how petty this reads, but this situation just amuses me to no end.

    Nothing wrong with that IMO.

You know that Randolph has only averaged 21 minutes per game in the last month, right?  I am not Randolph’s biggest fan, but he has been productive in the minutes he has got.  I think he will have some pretty big averages with Love hurt, although his 51% shooting w/ the Wolves may fall.

I never thought Randolph was the next KG.  That is wayyy to high of expectations for any player coming out of the draft.

I also don’t think the coach is the reason he isn’t an allstar.  He needs to break out of his emotional shell IMO and become more confident.  That and just allow his game to mature which it may be finally doing, im not sure though.

Why wouldn’t he excite you?  Do you see the way he can play at times?  If you aren’t the least bit excited by his play then you aren’t watching the same player.  Dude does have a ton of talent, if you deny that, you are far from an expert.

I hate comparing players…so I know I didnt call Randolph KG. I think i was laughing when New York fans talked about him making the Hall Of Fame (didnt Frazier start that nonsense). Anyways I agree with BTPH to an extent, dont forget Minnesota is the best rebounding team in the NBA. Just saying those stats are a result of individul effort plus team design.
