Mario88ParticipantThe kings should draft harrison barnes, he’s a good spot up shooter and thats what the kings need at the 3 spot, because there small forward wont get alot of touches due to playin with evans and cousins, so barnes would be perfect spotting up off of the double teams evans and cousins draw.

Appleby_15ParticipantI really like Barnes as a well-rounded scorer, who can easily become a 20ppg guy in the NBA. The Kings greatest position of need is small forward, so this does make sense. However, I think they’ll be looking for more of a defensive player in the draft. There defense has been atrocious this year, and I’m not sure that Barnes would really change that at all. If they could get Derrick Williams, I think they would take him. They could play him some at SF, and then also move Cousins to Center and play Williams at PF. I also think that they’ll consider Irving, if he comes out, because I’ve heard that they are souring a little on the idea of Tyreke Evans being there future PG. He is a great scorer and potentially a franchise player, but he has terrible court vision and commits tons of turnovers. Evans could slide over to the SG and Irving could come in and start right away, however there wouldn’t be much outside shooting in that backcourt.
I think Barnes, Williams, and Irving (in some order) are probably top 3 on their big board right now. I would also include Perry Jones as a sleeper. He has great length and could be great next to Cousins eventually.
