lw2010lg32ParticipantI see some Andrei Kirilenko in Chandler Parsons. Is that fair to say? He seems like a hustle player with a decent offensive game. I believe he gets drafted in the first 15 picks of the 2nd Round.

JRdaFilipinoParticipantAndrei was at one point in his career on of the NBA’s best defensive players..even now he is still a pretty solid defender. Offensively I can see that comparison, though… kinda. But you can’t base comparisons just off of stats… what aspects of Kirilenkos game do you see in Parons?

lw2010lg32ParticipantYour right when I really thought about it i see Mike Dunleavy like abilties in him.. and i’m not basing my comparisons off of stats. I see the Hustle aspect in Parsons game, they both score sliently they won’t really light you up.

eprizzle14Participantnot quite the shooter that Mike Miller is, doesnt have the playmaking ability of Turkoglu. But I see some of each in him.

kobyzParticipantexcellent comparison to Andrei Kirilenko! this is mine too.
Parsons is a long F with raw athletic ability, not consistent outside shot, a player who hustle, can get rebound, assist and score a little…

JoeWolf1He reminds me of Luke Walton in the way he distributes the ball as a forward.

nappy headed whiteydoes anyone else ever get sick of all the comparisons made on this site? and a lot of them stupid. Parsons is a do everything offensive player. I don’t know much about his defense but he will never reach AK’s level in his prime.

teamjosh04ParticipantYes, comparisons are overdone.
That said, Mike Dunleavy is the comparison I made for Parsons. Both are point forwards types, average athleticism, do-it-all type guys. Very successful in college. Fair best in uptempo systems.
Parsons jumpshot is coming on strong too. That is the one thing that he’s lacked, but he shot 42% in conference play this year. He has always had a nice stroke, now it is finally showing.

JoeWolf1Damn, all I said is that he reminded me of Luke Walton in the way he distributes the ball. That wasn’t even a full comparison. haha. They are both point forwards who were excellent passers who operate well in the high post and have a knack at finding the open cutter to the lane, I think people forget that Walton lead the PAC-10 in assists as a forward.
