GlenTaylorSucksParticipantSo…McHale kindly gift-wrapped the Clippers an UNPROTECTED first round draft pick for…Marko Jaric a few years back. I think the Wolves should find a way to trade back for it, even if it means giving up this year’s pick. Next year’s draft looks SO much better, especially if there’s a lockout. How would they go about doing this? Would they offer a combination of young talent (Flynn, Webster, Randolph, Pekovic) or draft picks? I dunno, what do y’all think?

nappy headed whiteythe only way you get that pick back is if you give the Clips Rubio homie. It will most likely be a top 10 pick and the Clips biggest need is SF, which is deep as fuck. Quincy Miller, LeBryan Nash, Gilchrist, Kris Middleton, Jereme Richmond, CJ Leslie (Tony Mitchell too if he ever sees the court) are potential picks for them. For the first 3 I might not even give them up for Rubio and I’m a huge rubio fan

kngojcParticipantYeah.. But then again the Wolves will promise to suck next year anyway so that will be a top ten pick no matter what. They need to get that pick back I think however they can. Especially if that means trading Rubio. He could definitely work with Blake Griffin to put him over the top and he is more than capable of running that team. Plus its a team in LA so I’m sure Rubio would love to play in a larger city than Minneapolis.
Besides, the Wolves need a dominant scorer who is consistent and can fit into the triangle and two offense Rambis is so set on. If the Wolves could manage to get Austin Rivers in that draft, I think they could finally make some noise. Love cleaning up all the misses by Rivers and putting them back in. makes him a threat to be a 20-15 guy again. Plus with Rivers it brings scoring and if we can add a defensive player in THIS draft, I think that they could start to come together finally

natedogggParticipantit all depends where the clips are at. this year they traded away their pick because they felt they didnt need to get any younger so they may also want a vet for the pick. but if they miss the playoffs again maybe they go for another young stud.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWhy would any team, even the Clippers, ever deal an unprotected first round pick of a 17-54 team that isn’t likely to get better next year?

Ghost01ParticipantIn the perfect world, Austin Rivers goes to the Clippers with that pick.
