Who would you take if ur a GM? i think i would take Markieff morris bc of his height 6"10 rather than 6"9 (marcus’s height).  He also seems to be having a better statistical season overall than Marcus.  His three point percentage is alott higher and it seems that in most of Kansas’s big games Markieff has shown up and put up his best numbers against the best competition.  I think if I asked myself this question a month or two ago i would say Marcus easy, but Markieff has been very efficient the past 10 games and i feel like he can be the better prospect

I’ve been a bigger fan of Markieff since last year.  I like his game.  It’s gritty.  He wants to bang you down low, he plays very passionate and hard.  Marcus plays hard and passionate as well don’t get me wrong.  Marcus is probably a bit more skilled but Markieff plays with more heart.  That said, I’d take Markieff.  Simply because he can easily be a great energy spark off the bench on NBA teams.

Because he knows his game. He doesn’t force the issue. He seems to be a better athlete than Marcus, and especially since Markieff is bigger and a little taller, he can play the 4 spot and not be hit with the tweener tag. He’s improved his outside shooting and that makes him a very attractive prospect with what he brings to the table defensively. Marcus is the flashier prospect but Markieff’s game is unbustable to me, and he will always be a good rotational player in the NBA.

I think Markieff is the better prospect, I feel like hes almost caught up to Marcus in skill but I feel Markieff’s game is going to better suited for PF in the NBA, and Marcus is a little too undersized and might be better suited at SF. If Marcus was two inches taller I think he would have All-star potential. I still think both these players are going to surprise people in the NBA, but they have to keep on improving like they have been.

Marcus Morris to me is easily the better prospect of the 2. Markieff can rebound better, but Marcus is a better scorer, shooter, and he’s a better overall talent. Marcus reminds me alot of Tyler Hansbrough, but Markieff is more of a defender and rebounder who has some developing skills, but I don’t ever see him being a huge scorer in the NBA.

I think they are pretty much even at this point. They both would be great pick and pop forwards and have great versitility on offense, and like a lot of you said Markeiff has a more defined position, but Marcus with a little work could be a really good player but these guys are both gym rats too, I would have never dreamed 2 years ago they would have developed into the players they are today.  I think they are both 15-25 prospects and depending on the team with the pick I could see Markeiff going higher, but I still think Marcus will go higher.
