I just throw this out on twitter, I want to ask you. Let’s say Utah calls Philadelphia and says
Deron Williams and C.J. Miles for Evan Turner, Jrue Holiday, Craig Brackins and 2 1st round picks

Does Philly say no to that?

I don’t know, I think both Holiday and Turner could be special in the next couple seasons, you add a couple 1st rounders and you have mass cap space…

I’d take the deal, but if I were Utah, I would ask for Young/Speights over Brackins, and also look into adding Meeks in the deal.

If Utah does a trade with Philly it will be to get Andre Igoudala. End of discussion. He is the only guy with Philly that interests Utah. Evan Turner a little bit but Iggy is who Utah really wants. The only reason why they don’t call Philly and offer something to get Iggy is because they Philly would want them to sell the farm and Utah does not want to do that.

As a Sixers fan I actually don’t know if I would do this trade. Yes, D-Will is a top 15 player, but is a lineup of Deron, Meeks, Iggy, Brand, and Hawes going to win anything? Most likely not, and I then invision D-Will rolling out to New York in 2012 and becoming my most hated player ever. Tough to give up your entire young foundation for a guy who ran a HOF coach out of town and is now in the news suggesting that he wants to play elsewhere in a year and a half.
