(Nuggets get draft picks. T’Wolves maybe get a few draft picks as well.)
I don’t think this will happen, but does anyone really lose?
Nuggets persepective:
Obviously your going to let Curry go. You have the option to let Azubuike and Chandler to walk too. I think they keep Chandler, not Azubuike. You also let Kenyon Martin leave and have the option to resign or let JR Smith and Aaron Afflao go. If they do what I think, they’ll end up with over $30 million in cash after the season.
Billups, Nene, Smith, Andersen, Balkman, Lawson, Williams, Forbes, Fields, Gailinari, and Hayward all return for the next season. Add in a few draft picks AND $30 million to spend and you can rebuild extremely fast. (Billups and Nene both have 2 years remaining so they could potentially free up another $24 million).
T’Wolves:
The T’Wolves need help. They do lose Johnson and Flynn, but Flynn hasn’t produced as much as expected ever since the hip injury. Roger Mason can come off the bench for Brewer, Harrington is a better option at center then Darko, and Randolph can be a solid backup for Love. If the T’Wolves get Rubio and a solid draft pick this year they could potentially have Rubio/Brewer/Beasley/Love/Harrington with a better bench with a draft pick or 2, Randolph, Mason, Darko, Ridnour, and Webster.
Knicks:
Felton-Johnson-Carmelo-Amare-Mozgov with Flynn/Douglas/Turiaf as 6/7/8 men thats a solid lineup and can be built to win championships. If they can get good, rebouding/defensive centers on this team then they are set.

TyroberParticipantYou have the wolves giving up Johnson and Flynn. This wont ever happen. You have to consider trades from everyones point of view bud.

sheltwon3ParticipantI doubt Johnson is going anywhere soon but I wonder about Minny who have like 4 small forwards. I could see Brewer getting moved or Ellington. Also Fynn looks to be on his way out as well. They think they have Rubio, they like Ridnour and there can draft a very good point in the upcoming draft. I could see Flynn getting traded to ATL because Teague does not seem to be able to cut it for some reason.

flyboyParticipantMinnesota would absolutely NEVER take Harrington’s contract. That alone to me nixes this.
