kobyzParticipantAlec Burks and Jordan Hamilton are great players and sure thing lottery…
Burks potential is off the chart, i’ll compare him at best to Latrell Sprewell.
also Hamilton will be a very good player in the NBA, his game a lot similar to Danny Granger.
there are some more sure thing lottery players if they comes out such as Jared Sullinger, Terrence Jones, Perry Jones, Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams, Enes Kanter, Harrison Barnes, Donatas Motiejunas.
Jared Sullinger will be good rebounder and offensive post player and will score, the question with him is how much efficient he will be, so because of it i’ll compare him to Carlos Boozer at best and Luis Scola at worst.
as far as Terrence Jones, more and more when i look at his game and trying to find a NBA comparison for him, i starting to think of Josh Smith, the way they proceeding the game, their ball skills, the jump shot and all quite similar.
their some players that are bubble lottery pick, like Tyler Honeycutt, Trey Thompkins, Tristan Thompson, Jonas Valanciunas, Brandon Knight, Josh Selby, Kawhi Leonard, Jan Vesely.
Tyler Honeycutt with some work on his defense could become a Nicolas Batum type player, right now he is Dorell Wright clone, athletic player with all around skills who can hit the three very well.
Trey Thompkins is also a nice prospect, somewhat combination of David West and Greg Monroe.
Tristan Thompson does need to get stronger but his great man to man defense in the post, his shot blocking, his aggressiveness, energy and intense, he just remind you Kenyon Martin of the New Jersey days.
Jonas Valanciunas is very good bigman, solid athlete, great feel for the game, nice shooting touch, remind me a bigger vesion of Taj Gibson.
some other players:
William Buford, i like his game, very good all around player, i think he could be great role player on a winning team, remind me of Anthony Parker.
Kyle Singler has a great shooting skills, fine rebounding for the SF position and he is a great competitor, it will be intersted to see how his game will transelt, i think at best he is Rashard Lewis and at worst Shawne Williams.
Kemba Walker, the classic scoring PG, quick, can shoot the long ball and make plays for himself, compete defensively, how good he will be depend on how he’ll adapt to the PG position in the NBA, if he’ll adapt well he would become a full job PG with comparison to Mo Williams, and if not he would become a combo guard of the bench ala Lou Williams.
Marcus Morris is the second coming of Al Harrington, that’s it.
his brother Markieff Morris is more feisty, not as much offensive talent but better post defender and rebounder, a Juwan Howard type.
Chris Singleton does have great defensive skills but he also has some talent on offense i’ll say he is Donte Greene meet Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.
Kris Joseph is a big time athlete who keep improving his skills and shooting, not close to finishing product but i can see someone gamble on him base on potential in the mid-late first round, best case for him: Richard Jefferson worst case: Sonny Weems.
Klay Thompson is such a pure shooter, a great scorer with good size not to be a first round pick, comparison: Anthony Morrow or a poor man Reggie Miller .
Tobias Harris as the skills and style of play of Jamal Mashburn, he is just not good just yet and should stay another year or two to work on his game, but he has potential.
Keith Benson if will not get overlook is a late first rounder, he has potential, inside outside skills, i compare him to Jason Thompson from the Kings.
Nolan Smith is copy of Geoge Hill as a player, can score in bunches but not very good passer and not enough feel for the PG position to be full job PG, but a nice option for a combo guard of the bench, could go in the late first or early second.
i can see Ben Hansbrough goes in the second round, i think he has a chance to be a backup PG, he is very similar as a player to Acie Law.
David Lighty worth a first round pick, he is the type of swingman any winning team can use, athletic, great defender, nice all around skills, does all the little things and can hit the three, the next Doug Christie.
Jordan Williams is the hardest player to predict at the next level, because his style of play, they were players who had great succeed and they were other who was a total mess, i say he could be anything from Al Jefferson to Jackie Butler.
Lucas Nogueira from youtube looks like a bigger Tyrus Thomas.
Jeffery Taylor is a smooth athlete, can shoot and defend, a bigger Maurice Evans lets say, late first round… maybe.
John Henson is a bubble first rounder, he brings great energy, rebounding and shot blocking, he is an Amir Johnson clone.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI did not agree with any of your comparisons except Nolan Smith who reminds me of Lou Williams, but George Hill is the same player too. And Tristan Thompson does remind me of Kenyon Martin he is nasty, bouncy, and plays physical. They got Thompson listed at 6’8 but he looks like a legit 6’9 with close to a 40 inch vert because he gets off the ground fast and high. Height is never an issue and he plays center for Texas.
Alec Burks reminds me of Jamal Crawford more then Sprewell, Sprewell was an inside, mid range player, who has nasty athleticism. Burks will develop into more or a pull up player who is much more smoother.
I like the post tho.
