Lotto StudParticipantI know the Melo deal to L.A. hasn’t seemed as though the move that will be made, but I think that will end up being his landing spot if he does not go to New York before the deadline. Honestly even if Melo goes to New York before the deadline, he could still go to L.A. via Free Agency if he is not feeling it with Amare` & crew. If you think about it Melo already has a crib in L.A. & most importantly he has a better chance of getting a R.I.N.G. with Kobe rather than Amare`. I just have a gut feeling he will choose L.A. this summer, after he realizes he has a greater chance for a championship. Another thing is if he goes to L.A. over the summer he wouldn’t have to breakup the core that is already there, which would be the same scenario if he went to New York over the summer.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant1. The Knicks wouldn’t trade for him if he doesn’t sign an extension with them.
2. How would he sign with L.A. in the off season? They don’t have the cap room to bring in Melo.

NYK2010ParticipantWho knows what the Nuggets are thinking.
It doesn’t seem like the Lakers would give up Bynum in a deal.
Maybe he just stays in Denver for the rest of the season.

BasterdInABasketParticipantI dont know if getting a ring is actually that high on his list of priorities. I think money (Denver), being a franchise centerpiece (NY and Denver) and playing in a big market (LA and NY) are all more important too him right now. I think hell end up in NY eventually though.
