ilike.panochasParticipantIm a fan of both, as a prospect, specially Willie Warren. Im disappointed hes not getting any opportunities at all with the Clippers with Eric Gordon being hurt for a couple of weeks. Hes putting up numbers in D-League right now.
With that said, I look at these guys (Warren and Selby) and they look very similar, built wise, athletically, and their game. I was wondering who would you guys say has the “brighter future” in the NBA? I personally like Warren better, but he hasnt gotten the minutes AT ALL to prove me right.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThis isn’t the answer to your question, but I’m somewhat surprised Warren hasn’t been brought back up either.
The Clippers need scoring and they could use him as the backup to Foye. Butler has ZERO confidence. They’re using Bledsoe to backup both Davis and Foye. Why not call up Warren and give him an opportunity while Gordon is out? Gordon likely won’t return until after the All-Star break.

4th dimensionIm surprised and puzzled also. Warren I feel is being wasted, he has a ton of talent. And I thought he was a streal in the 2nd round.

Stanford hoops1My guess is he either is playing bad defense in practice and/or has a hard time handling the ball/scoring. If you don’t show things in practice then Coach’s have no reason to put you in the game. It sucks sometimes because some players play worst in practice but better in a game

Afactor4ParticipantHard to say, Willie Warren is putting up really good numbers in the D-League, so I’ve heard, but was the absolute last guy on the Clippers bench. He didn’t even play garbage minutes! The Clips actually have a rather large rotation, with just about everyone coming on for at least 2 or 3 minutes, even Rasual Butler, but Willie Warren never EVER takes off his track suit.
