OldSkoolBasketballParticipant30-24. Exact same record last year through 54 games of the season. Thats amazing stuff considering what they are going through.

akhan786ParticipantThat’s just a testament to the head coach, Nate Mcmillan.

gregoden08ParticipantI vastly undervalued Nate. I thought he was an overrated coach, but seeing what he has done the last 2 years has definetely changed my view on him. He is a great coach.
Hard to believe Aldridge isn’t an all-star. This guy is a top-10 mvp canidate and is dominating every big man he plays against. Oh well. He’s proved to me that he’s a top-20 player and is steadily climbing.

CodySLCParticipantNot just Alrdridge but he is the main reason. Guys like Wes Mathews and Andre Miller have stepped up also.

Tha_PrinceParticipantAlso, with Roy out I was expecting Batum would really have a career year with the extra shots he’d be getting.
Don’t get me wrong 12ppg and 5 rpg isn’t bad but I was expecting bigger considering the breakout year he had last year. Fun to watch though!

RickyRubio9ParticipantWes Matthews has been going to work!
I tweeted about him earlier; he dropped like 20 something tonight right?
Wes Matthews hasn’t gotten much love for MIP
& L.A. is getting very little love as usual, only true fans realize what he’s doing right now.0 - Posted on: Sun, 02/13/2011 - 7:09pm #490292

Leftovers16ParticipantLamarcus Aldridge said he wasnt going to change his game to make up for lost of players or something like that i was like wow this guys really doesnt have the mentality of an all-star/super star… but boy was i wrong he stepped it up this year especially with no Roy and to a lesser extent Oden

Stanford hoops1That’s great. And this is what i try to tell clipper fans. Even with injuries Lamarcus has kept his team winning, Blake has been great but his team is now 3 games behind where they were last year

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantI think this year has had so many players step up it is incredible. Really you could make the case for a whole team of players who deserve the mip award…. I mean
PG- Felton- I personaly thought he should have even got some all star love this season. Incredible year. I dont get the dwill and cp3 talk new york fans are talking about, cause felton is legit.
SG-Matthews- With roy out, he is the second leading scorer on a team that is atually in very good shape. this one pains me to see casue the jazz could have kept him, but this kid is legit. 3s, defensive, does the dirty work and doesnt get the recognition but def MIP worthy.
SF- Wright- Who would have thought that he was so versital. I mean he can dish he can shoot and he can rebound. Complete stat sheet stuffer and may be the best off season signing for the warriors above what everyone thought would be David Lee
Pf- Love-went from 14 & 11 to 21 & 16. Nough said.
C-Hibbert_ everyone out of college thought he would either be a out of shape big you threw in for garbage time, or a average starter. Now he is starting to prove he could be a very very good player. He for sure the best passing center in basketball, and with his size he could always block shots. But i feel like now he is starting to develop that very versitle offesense skill set that he always was capable of having. I feel if he had a solid front court mate the pacers could even make some noise.
Bench, Alfalo, Gortat, Ryan Anderson, Holiday,Augistine, Young, Lowry (bench isnt worse players just less improvement than starters imo)

marcusfizer21Participantand to think I was right in WANTING to keep Aldridge with Chicago instead of doing that draft-day trade with Tyrus Thomas…
LaMarcus proved me right… He’s a better player than Tyrus Thomas and that Russian Viktor Khryapa…

IndianaBasketballParticipantLamarcus Aldridge is going to have a second half of the season similar to Amare Stoudemire’s last year…
Give McMillian a lot of credit though. You either defend or sit down. Also Wes Matthews deserves a lot of credit.
They just have a lot of solid guys who just play.

SteroidParticipantThis team has so much potential, but half of that potential has been blown to hell with injuries to Roy and Greg, obviously.
