Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIs this a great game or what?

I May Be WrongParticipantmissed two easy lay-ups this game (one in the first and one late in the 4th after he got a rebound) and i thought that might hurt them but LeBron just missed a key free-throw so they might pull out the win.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThat was a BIG missed free throw.
They also dodged a bullet when Ray Allen missed the wide open 3.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIF Rondo could shoot, he’d be the best point guard in the NBA.
IF that were me and players guarded me that way, that’d be all I needed to make me should a thousand jumpshots per day.
Triple double for Rondo today though and I liked how he took on the challenge of guarding LeBron.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAs much as I love watching Rondo, I absolutely HATE it when people go into the other team’s huddles. Sasha did it a couple years back with Cleveland. It just shows no respect for personal space and the other team. If I were LeBron, I would have gotten into Rondo’s face.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea… You’re right… Rondo showed zero respect for Miami’s personal space all game. I loved it.

Michael.S.ParticipantIm soooo pissed off right now, they had multiple chances to win or tie it and they didn’t rise to the occasion, for LeBron the first time this year….i didn;t like the whistle for Miami today and I didn’t like their energy- overall they played horrible

SteroidParticipantIn a sense, I think that the fact that he can’t shoot actually helps his game some, and allows him to get triple doubles. Like to be able to roam for rebounds, and he gets good passing angles because people play off him. If he can develop a decent set shot like Kidd has, he’d be more dangerous though.

Meditated StatesParticipantThats what he does over the other PG’s. They all have their flaws, but he’s the best man. Stepping up to take on Lebron most of the game. Kid is sick.

IndianaBasketballParticipantRondo is great, but he can’t shoot at all. I can’t put him at the top until he at least becomes average shooting the ball. I mean, is becoming an average shooter too much to ask?

Don’t act like he was working LeBron. LeBron was punishing Rondo whenever he tried guarding him.

IndianaBasketballParticipantOther than that post up and and one, I don’t think LeBron punished Rondo at all.
Rondo was pressuring him well out there on the perimeter. I don’t understand why LeBron didn’t take him down into the post more.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLeBron really controlled the ball today. Maybe even too much. He slowed down the tempo and it was nothing but pick and rolls with Bosh. I didn’t like the way LeBron played today.

KayjayParticipantI think the most unimpressive play was on Wade. Lebron did everything he could to get other team mates into the game. But some of them kept pussying out on shots. Other than that, lol i’m sorry but you guys are giving Rondo credit for all the wrong reasons. Give him credit for being a floor general and a triple double as well as making shots down the stretch. Not guarding Lebron. I watched the entire game in my office. Lebron worked Rondo. It was a joke of a mismatch. I give Rondo credit for pressuring him to make sure Lebron stays on the outside, but thats about it. ‘A’ for effort, ‘C-‘ for effectiveness on Lebron.

B-ball fanParticipantThe Heat scored 18 points in the third quarter. LeBron didn’t "work" Rondo. LeBron was ineffective at making plays in the third quarter, and would have had a turnover if he hadn’t dribbled off of Perkins foot when Perkins doubled him. Yes, it was not the ideal match-up for the Celtics, but the Heat were outscored by 17 in the third quarter when Rondo defended LeBron the most.

Meditated StatesParticipantDid you notice how low the shot clock was by the time they set up on O. Obviously Lebron did back him down and score on 2 occasions, but be serious he is small. He did a good job. Better than any other PG in the game would have done.
