forrestjParticipantWould Curry, Biedrins, and B. Wright be enough for D-Will?

forrestjParticipantCurry isn’t tatted at all haha Utah would love him. and if Jazz fans start booing D-Will I can see things going south fast in Salt Lake City.

ilike.panochasParticipantIt would be jackpot for the Warriors. We get perhaps the best PG in the NBA for Curry and a BONUS, the Jazz gets to eat up Biedris’ contract.

j1232eParticipantSounds like a reasonable deal maybe a pick involved. I really don’t think dwill is going anywhere, I understand what jerry meant for us here in utah but I really hope the fans don’t run off dwill.

forrestjParticipantand curry would probably be the single most talented piece they could get for him right now. Better then Favors, though maybe not as good of a package as a whole. And better then Fields and Gallinari.

the barronParticipantSad day to be a Jazz fan like me. Jerry Sloan wasn’t gonna coach forever but still this wasn’t the way for him to go out. Basically run off by a star player and an organization who chose DWill over Sloan. I will never see D-Will the same way from now on. As a Jazz fan I do hope he’s traded but it doesnt make sense, since they already chose who they were going to keep. As for this Warrior deal, yeah it looks all right maybe toss in David Lee in exchange for Al Jefferson as well.

butidonthavemoneyI love Curry. Not a big fan of Biedrins or Wright, but I think Curry is special.
I’d make that trade if they threw in a pick or two.

OhCanada-ParticipantUtah is now officially doomed, who wants to play in morman town. No offense at all to people from Utah, we face the same issue in Toronto. Now that Sloan is gone and there are obvious chemistry issues in Utah who would wanna go play there. If they dont trade Williams which i doubt they will hes gonna leave them worse off then Lebron left Cleveland.

SwatLakeCityParticipantNO NO NO. Dwill is staying. He is not the reason Coach Sloan left. That was Sloan’s decision and his alone. DWill said it himself. I did not force Jerry Sloan out of coaching. I would rather leave myself then see him leave." End of story. Jazz needed a new coach, because Jerry Sloan lost his fire. Yes his system still works but someone else needed to run it because Sloan has lost his fire, his will power. Tonight you will see that Dwill will stay with the Jazz. He does not want to leave Utah, and would only do so if the team continues to lose or play like they currently are. This will not happen. Tonight will be a change of things for the better. If a trade is going to happen it will happen to the bench. I would not mind giving up Fransisco Elson, Gordon Hayward, or Ronnie Price.

CodySLCParticipantD Will is staying. Atleast for now. If things keep going down hill we might have to trade him tho. He needs to pull his head outta his ass and learn to set the example and lead this team. The rains have offically been passed on from Jerry to Will and i know alot of people in Salt Lake are mad, but im gonna keep hoping it all works out.

Well of course Deron isn’t going to come out and say "Yeah, it was all my fault, blame me." It’s only obvious he’s going to say it’s not his fault, he doesn’t want to be the one that seems to have character issues.

OhCanada-ParticipantFirst of all, the media has a funny way of indoctrinating stories into our heads. As of now I really dont know why people assume Williams is the reason Sloan left, its all just hear say. All I am saying is one way or another Utah is screwed. Williams said he would rather leave himself then see Sloan leave (well we might see both things happen). Maybe Willaims and Sloan werent getting along and Williams said trade me because we arent getting along and management said well lets get rid of Sloan instead, IDK just a thought lets not get carrier away. Williams seems genuinly shocked.

CodySLCParticipantAlso if you look at it from another way, Jerry just past Pat Riley for 3rd all time on the win list. So maybe he just felt like it was time for him to go. But i still think D Will played atleast some part in all of this.

DWill played a slight part in it, but I don’t think he was the defining factor.

SwatLakeCityParticipantHe played a very small part. The main bulk was Jerry Sloan alone. Let him enjoy his retirement. If this keeps going on, he will come back with a vengeance and will not be very happy with anybody especially Jazz fans for how they are disrespecting himself and their best player Deron Williams. (I’ve heard that Utah fans, of all people, totally hate Dwill now because they believe he forced him out of retirement. That idea of a player forcing a coach out of his job is absurd) Let him rest and enjoy his retirement. He deserves it.

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantI dont think anyone of those guys you said you wouldnt mind trading are assets that any team would be willing to give us the pieces we want. I honestly think maybe rebuilding like a okc wouldnt be bad for this team. We have a all star point who wants a other super so he can win now, obviously al isnt that. I think when his contract is up he is as good as gone. So why not trying to get younger and more talented. I think its only fitting that it looks like we are heading for rebuild mode after 23 years of being competitive. Idk i dont think this team has what it takes to win a title. I dont think we have pieces that will equate in getting good players to make a title run. Imo looking back, using hindsight bias of course, the al signing might have been the wrong move…. the ak signing was def to much and the okur resigning was not so good either… idk we got alot of expesive players all on thier downside of thier careers and 2 really good pfs, an unhappy diva of a pg who wants his own super team and a sh!tty bench. I think its time to start over..
